Our policy of continued improvement and new product development has lead to an expanded range of audio and video kits. New arrivals to the Videx kit range include the remodeled and improved "8000 Series" and a range of 2 wire video kits. Other kits in the range include the popular 4000 Series and  modular vandal resistant kits. A vast range of accessories are available for all kits, additionally, kits are available with coded access and proximity access control.

The 4000 Series panel design has been designed using the latest 3D modelling software. The new design is characterised by a number of new features: the modules with front plate and push button are manufactured in mirror finish stainless steel or matt aluminum and the frames are manufactured from one piece of die-cast aluminum alloy which are available in gun metal grey, chrome and gold. The 4000 Series style panels are available for all Videx systems.

The VR4K is a vandal resistant door panel solution based on the 4000 Series modular design. Modules are manufactured from 12 SWG (2.5mm) stainless steel and the electronics are secured to the front plate and are protected by a covering box which is sealed to the front fascia. All buttons are IP68 rated and manufactured in stainless steel. To give greater strength to the unit, the modules are secured to the 4000 series frame using studs and fixing rails.

The 3000 Series intercoms and video intercoms are the result of specific research and development into new styles and materials. Some of the main features are a 3 level volume control for the call tone, a removable line cord and large easy to press buttons. The 3000 Series intercom are available for all Videx systems and are available in white ABS plastic surface mount finish.

Special application door panels are most widely used on buildings having public access, these include: Hospitals, Schools, Council offices and nurseries. Door panels for these applications would normally have large illuminated Braille call buttons, door open LED, Speak LED and inductive coils fitted as standard. With optional 2 line 16 character English text LCD display to inform the visitor of the calls progress and confirm with speech annunciation. DDA options are also available for the apartments in the form of induction coils for the handsets and strobe lights to indicate a call,

The Portal Plus is a networkable access control system with windows based programming and management software with support for up to 15000 users and unlimited entrances. It allows greater flexibility in the design and installation of an access control system having a modular design and facilities for proximity, bio access and coded access readers.A range of readers are available all in the same robust design which also includes an illuminated touch to exit switch. Proximity reader modules are also available for the Videx 4000, VR4K and VR series entrance panels allowing full integration with an intercom system.
Based on 2 door controllers (available with or without integral 3.5A switched mode power supply) and including an RS485 bus that will link up-to 64 doors (32 controllers).Additionally, an optional integral Ethernet connection (TCP/IP) is available allowing controllers to be connected to an existing LAN orWAN with the potential expansion to unlimited doors.

The system includes distributed intelligence allowing the systems to continue functioning even during times of network problems. Both anti pass back and mantrap options are available as standard as are free inputs and outputs that can be programmed as per an installation or user requirement. The user friendly windows based software allows the adding, editing or deletion of users and includes finger print enrolment integrated into the software. Using this in conjunction with the desk mount USB finger print reader eliminates the need to enrol a user twice.
