The sliding door is the most widely used automatic door system. It is the most user friendly and due to its design is also the safest operator configuration. It lends itself to volume traffic and simplicity of operation.
Electric Operated Automatic Door Systems
A multi-position mode switch sets the different modes of operation. A unique benefit to the ASN Erreka system is that when the door is turned to the “off” mode it actually shuts down power to all auxiliary units (why does a sensor need power if the door is turned off) therefore saving even more power use.
The door can be activated by various options - these include radar motion sensors, remote control or push button plus many other options and variations. Standard safety features of our sliding automatic doors start at the motor which incorporates a pressure sensing system; this will stop the door if it encounters any friction or comes into contact with an object during the opening or closing cycle. Then there are electronic safety photo cells or threshold safety sensors, which will hold open the door if the beam is broken, the battery back-up to provide for an emergency operation in the event of power failure.
The Swing Automatic Door is ideal for low, medium and high volume traffic in many environments where a sliding door is not practical.
The Swing Automatic Door operator, which powers the door, is usually contained within an overhead unit but can be floor mounted. This unit contains the motor gearbox, safety interface, and microprocessor controller.
The door can be activated by various options these include radar motion sensors, remote control or push button plus many other options and variations.
Folding Doors
The Folding Automatic Door is ideal for medium to high volume pedestrian access in many commercial environments. It opens up new possibilities anywhere where space is at a premium. It provides a safer swing movement for one-way and two-way traffic than conventional swing doors. About 70% of the folding door’s overall width remains free and clear for passage. The Folding Automatic Door consists of narrow hinged door leaves that concertina together.
The basic door set comprises of a door leaf and frame and can be supplied in either single or double leaf. The doors can be fitted to either concertina inwards or outwards according to your requirements and the constraints of the surrounding environment.
Our door can be supplied to replace old or damaged manual doors, or as a complete entrance system with the option of fixed side screens and transom / glazed panels.
