Domestic Lifts
WESSEX HOME LIFT - the through floor vertical lift range
Designed for independence
Illuminated, ergonomically designed internal controls for ease of use. Powered door option for greater independence. Large-Buttoned remote control now available.
Flexibility of Installation Locations
Free-standing design does not require load bearing wall. Door opening and internal controls may be either left or right and can be changed from side to side, enabling relocation of lift.
Choice of Models
Available in six models to suit a wider range of applications.
Wessex Home Lifts, VM range, are EC Type tested by a notified body and comply with Schedule 4 of "The supply of machinery safety regulations 1992". All Wessex lifts are CE marked in compliance with European Regulations, and comply with BS 5900 1999.
Public Access Lifts
Open Liberty Lifts may be wall-mounted or free-standing and are designed to be installed internally or externally. The lifts are manufactured to suit individual applications up to a lifting height of 2m and may have front or side entry.
Choice of finishes to blend with immediate Surroundings
The standard finish for all Wessex lifts is creamy-white. Other colours and finishes are available (at extra cost) to fit in with decor and surroundings.
Attention to Safety
All Wessex lifts are CE marked in compliance with European regulations and meet the safety requirements detailed in BS 6440 and ISO 9386 (special safety features are detailed on the technical specifications page).
Installation, Instruction and After Sales Care
On receipt of order a site specific drawing will be produced for customer approval prior to manufacture. The lift will be installed by Wessex trained engineers. A comprehensive user manual, on site training and maintenance advice is provided. Wessex offer a selection of maintenance contracts to meet individual requirements.
Liberty Lifts
THE LIBERTY LIFT RANGE: ENCLOSED
Wessex Liberty Lifts are a range of enclosed lifting platforms that can be installed to give easy access to homes, buildings and public premises, where a change in level (usually overcome by steps) inhibits wheelchair users.
Wessex has intrigued the industry by producing a lift that incorporates as a standard package many expensive options. They have researched the range of essential options and coupled that with desirable options. The designers came up with a modular product that really gives the client a lift that meets the demands of the site as well as providing a solution that meets the specific customers need at a highly competitive price.

Inclined Platform Lift
The Wessex Roll-on has been developed as a low-budget access solution, operating over straight flights of steps.
Compact Design
Ideal when space is at a premium, the Roll-on folds neatly away against the wall, taking only 230mm of space.
The lift runs along attractive aluminium tracks, mounted either to pillars or directly to the wall.
The application of the ‘Roll-on’ is flexible and can be mounted to either the right or left hand side of the stairway. Suitable for internal and external applications.
Call stations fitted with key switches are located at top and bottom of the stairs, ideally placed for independent use.
Step Lifts
Flexibility
Can be installed either internally or externally. May be used to rise directly over one or two steps or installed alongside steps. Lifts to a maximum height of 500mm.
The lift will be installed by Wessex trained engineers.

Wessex offer a selection of maintenance contracts to meet individual requirements.
