Throughout Addison's long history in the field of metal sawing, (Founded 1956) we have consistently been at the forefront in both innovation and application.

Throughout the years we have continued to lead the way in sawing technology, continually introducing new cutting machinery and equipment.

• Hand operated circular saws in the 50s and 60s.
• Blade deflection monitoring and adaptive control on our twin column band saws in the 70s.
• High-speed tube cutting lines with an intergraded washing station in the 80s and 90s. We also successfully pioneered tube laser technology.
• 3,4,5 & 6 axis long bed cnc machining centres in 2000.

From the start we recognised the need for enhanced cutting lubricants that would maintain the performance of our machines. We jointly developed, with a leading lubricant manufacturer, our Addicut high grade cutting lubricants that are widely used throughout the UK.
