In addition to the distribution of electronic components, sub-systems and systems, ACAL offers a complementary value-added service that includes the development and manufacture of custom solutions in accordance with ISO 9001:2008. ACAL can take designs from concept through to manufacture, all processes are undertaken in-house enabling total control over the design process, benefiting from our facilities which includes an EMC chamber, quick-turn prototype PCB production, CAD and specialist test equipment.

Working closely with the component manufacturers,ACAL’s field-based application engineers combine their knowledge of emerging technologies and products with an expert understanding of the challenges of implementing these into different applications. There are specialists in each of the core building-blocks of design including power distribution, frequency control, interconnect, thermal management, EMC and RF and wireless, as well as specialists for embedded computing, networking and storage.Their ideas are often innovative, sometimes surprising, but always cost-effective.
