For nearly 20 years Advanced Diesel Engineering Ltd. have supplied diesel generators for stand by operation, emergency backup power and prime power operation. With a large stock of diesel generators from 11 to 3300kVA, we specialise in the acoustic treatment and containerisation of medium to high power weatherproof and silent generator systems.

Generator sets up to 550kVA are equipped as standard with high capacity fuel tanks, starting batteries, manual/autostart controller and 4 pole circuit breaker. The base frames provide full bunding and 4 direction handling capabilities by fork lift or pallet truck.

Our silenced range of diesel generators are also easily transported and are designed to meet or exceed future European legislation.

Here at ADE we have a complete manufacturing facility enabling us to design and build acoustic & weatherproof canopies for almost any model of diesel or gas generator. You can choose a diesel generator from our substantial stock, enquire on the availability of other generator models or even free issue your own generator to enable us to manufacture an appropriate noise control and/or weather proof enclosure.

Whether you require only a secure container to hold your generator or a silent generator system including fuel storage and distribution, we will supply any ISO container based system to suit your needs.
For systems up to 2250kVA we can install the generator, basic control panel and generator fuel system into a single 40' (or smaller) standard ISO container.

Numerous control options are available including load sharing, remote and synchronised/parallel operation.

The ADE Power Box is a 6,058mm (20') modified ISO container. The design is universal, allowing for a wide range of generators to be installed. The acoustic properties of the container can lower the noise levels of an installed generator by up to 40dB(A).

If you require a basic bulk fuel storage solution or a fuel system as part of a wider project, your fuel tank will be fully integrated and maintained as part of the generator system. All our generator fuel tanks are double skinned as standard, with the options of 'pipe in pipe' and duplex-pumped fuel feed and return systems.

Whilst ADE have been supplying UPS systems as part of generator and stand-by power solutions for many years, UPS hasn't been part of our core business. All that is set to change as we establish ourselves as Uninterruptible Power Supply installation specialists. Our systems are industry standard and compete in quality and reliability with any international high end UPS on the market today.

A UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) differs from a generator oriented emergency power system in that it can provide instantaneous or near-instantaneous power by means of one or more attached batteries and associated electronic circuitry.

Projects involving high power applications or where a high step load is required, a flywheel based system may be necessary (Rotary UPS). A flywheel provides a spinning mass to enable short term instant power, giving the main UPS time to output the full power required.
