The Helicam is an unusual looking but incredibly stable platform which lifts high resolution video and photographic cameras up to 400ft. It's stability comes from the eight rotor design, low center of gravity and its sohphisticated flight control system. Using GPS guidance and the latest sensor technology, the helicam is unbeatably smooth, safe and reliable in flight.

On the video production side of our work, we employ experienced cameramen and specialist cameras to bring high quality and professionalism to our productions. Once captured, raw footage is edited using Apple Mac computers and Final Cut Pro. Taking the service to the highest level, it is now possible to incorporate Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) into our HeliCam aerial 360 virtual tours. This is particularly useful for the construction and development industries for illustrating what new buildings will look like in situ, before they are actually built.

Top-down aerial photographs can help to build a better understanding of archaeological digs and historical sites. Overlapping aerial photographs can be used for 3D mapping and photogrammetry.

In addition to marketing photography for visitor brochures and flyers, our aerial photography service has been sucessfully used for accident prevention. Wall top inspection of aged structures using the HeliCam is ideal for identifying loose or damaged masonry without impacting the surrounding site, unlike cherry pickers or van-based mast systems.

Producers and Directors of music videos can add enormous production value by shooting aerial footage from a HeliCam drone. The HeliCam was used on the video shoot for the new Take That song, 'Love Love'.

The HeliCam is extremely versatile which gives it great value for money, as well as offering smooth aerial footage from up to 400ft, it can be used to simulate crane shots and track and dolly shots. It is electric powered for non intrusive indoor studio work and it will also pack down for international travel.

With the aid of a stable downlink image to a 7 inch monitor and a separate manual control for camera roll and tilt, the HeliCam will fly into almost any position required by the director. (Safety and physical limitations permitting).

Time lapse photography is the technique of taking many photographs of a subject over a period of time and then processing the images in quick succession to play as a movie. There are a number of uses for time lapse and it can be an extremely effective way to showcase an event, construction or process that may take a long time to develop. 

We use professional DSLR cameras encased in weatherproof, climate controlled cabinets and the photographs can be monitored online through a secure login. For construction projects, the cameras can be used for security and progress monitoring aswell as marketing for post project presentations. We were recently required to cover the UEFA Champions League Football match between Manchester United and Barcelona on 28.05.11. We used 5 cameras to cover the preparation of the stadium and the game itself which has been broadcast on ITV Sport and various other channels.
