Astec Conveyors provide a space saving range of spiral conveyors providing continuous, smooth vertical transfer of product (in either direction) from upper and lower levels. The spiral conveyors offers an extremely small footprint compared to a conventional belt conveyor.

Spiral conveyors are available in mild steel (painted to a standard RAL colour of your choice) or food quality stainless steel. These versatile conveyors will transport cartons, fresh produce, sacks, cases, tote bins, shrink-wrapped goods, bundles, single cans and bottles.

Astec Conveyor Systems manufacture an excellent range of heavy duty pallet conveyors in mild steel (painted to a standard RAL colour of your choice) or stainless steel. Roller pallet conveyors can be supplied in widths to suit your product from 500mm to 1400mm and with top-of-roller heights ranging from a low profile of 125mm up to 1m plus. The roller pitch can also be designed to allow the optimum handling and will be selected taking into account the pallet base profile and total pallet loadings. Pallet Conveyors can be supplied with twin or triple chains instead of rollers if required.

AsteC Conveyor Systems are market leaders in the design and manufacture of case conveyor systems and as such, can supply a variety of different types of case conveyors in a number of widths and speeds, from simple lineshaft conveyor with all associated components such as 30, 45, 60 and 90 degree true taper roller bends (to ensure the product orientation is maintained), to high speed Zero Line Pressure (ZLP) systems to avoid product contact during accumulation.

Additional equipment supplied with the case conveyor system could be items such as right angled transfers, merge units, divert units, blade stops, line brakes, product inverters and twisters. All conveyor designs can be constructed from mild steel (painted to a standard RAL colour of your choice) or S304 or S316 grade stainless steel.

Astec Conveyors design and manufacture a complete range of belt conveyor systems to either be supplied as a stand alone unit - providing a reversible mechanical handling solution for conveying product from a ground floor to a first floor mezzanine for example or, providing bespoke belt conveyors (make anchor text link to Bespoke Conveyor Systems page) which are to be integrated into a much larger conveyor system. The belt conveyor systems design can be a light duty end drum drive with 'end tensioning', or a heavier duty mid drive with 'integrated mid tensioner'. Belt widths can be from 100mm up to 2m plus with speeds from approximately 2m per minute up to 120m/min. All designs can be constructed from mild steel (painted to a standard RAL colour of your choice) or S304 or S316 grade stainless steel.

Astec Conveyors offer bespoke conveyors design and build facilities for our customers. Either as stand alone machinery or as specific items to be integrated into a turnkey project. Bespoke conveyor system items could be pallet lifts, pallet dispensers, transfer cars, turntables, high speed product chanellisers, divert units, merge units, spiral chutes, luffing conveyors (to route product from one infeed height to many different outfeed heights), product elevators or indexing elevators with integrated conveyors to name a few.

Our manufacturing facility in Swadlincote, South Derbyshire boasts state of the art equipment such as a Trumpf  which incorporates high speed innovative punching technology which can process approximately one hundred 3000mm x 1250mm sheets per day of stainless steel or mild steel up to 6mm thick. For folding operations a state of the art Bystronic CNC 160 Tonne Press Brake is used
