We have detailed information on a range of Union Tools including carbide, diamond and CBN endmills and carbide drills. These series of tools are able to machine from soft alloys and steels. Our equipment also includes a Deckle SO and SOE single lip cutter grinder and centricator.

Rainford Precision Machines also provide KERN micro machining centres able to create immense accuracies.

We have a range of quality coated endmills supplied for high precision ballnose endmills.

These coated endmills have an exceptional range with ± .003 radius tolerances.

Our selection of uncoated endmills include Kyocera 2 and 4 flute ballnose and square endmills. These uncoated endmills are ideal for micro machining soft steels and non-ferrous materials.

Uncoated endmills include 3mm shank tools and start at 0.1mm in diameter for 2 flute endmills and 0.2mm for 4 flute tools.

Samurai endmills are highly versatile and consist of 34 models from 1mm up to 12mm in diameter. This makes them exceptionally suitable for mould and dies, automotive, medical, aerospace, and the general subcontract industry sectors.

The selection of Samurai endmills are available in a range of geometries and include 4 flute corner radius and 4 flute square models of endmills.

We manufactured a range of diamond coated endmills for graphite electrodes.

Diamond coated endmills have high precision shanks and .005mm tolerances. They are also available in a range of geometries. 

We are specialists in drilling and milling small features in macro components and our drills, reamers and threadmills aid us in providing a wide range of applications and processes.

We have vast experiences in drilling small holes into a range of materials and can help you to improve hole drilling with drills, reamers and threadmills and reduce burr problems.

We have a range of new KERN machining centres enabling innovative and exciting ultra-precision pieces. The KERN machining centres are only 1.5 metres high but are integrated with a tool cabinet with 101 tool positions and can be extended to include 209 tools.

The HSK25 spindle has speeds up to 500 to 50,000 rpm and is able to use tools up to 150mm in length and with a diameter of 70mm.

We provide sub contracting tool grinding and our department is equipped with the latest grinding machines integrated with tool loading systems and automatic wheel changers.

Our sub contracting tool grinding benefit a wealth of industry areas, including space science, aerospace, autosport, and medical.

Our range of grinders and centricators include machines from the market leading Deckle range. These SO and SOE machines have additional features and a 20 times more powerful magnification microscope.

Deckle's grinders and centricators also consist of dust exhaust systems and rotating handle with easy operation and high accuracy performance.
