Medium duty ball transfer units have been designed to withstand impact damage through misalignment of the conveyed item and also incorporate a resistance to shock loads applied to the main ball. Medium duty  all trasfer units have the internal hemispherical form machined directly into the solid steel base. The load-bearing base is then carefully case hardened for wear resistance and provides for smooth movement in any direction. All units with a main ball larger than 19mm are fitted with a felt seal to reduce dirt ingress.

Omniball is a new type of ball castor which glides easily over delicate or carpeted floors and can change direction almost instantaneously. For ease of handling the new design incorporates an internal mechanism which drastically reduces the 'trail' required by conventional castors to change direction. Omniball's robust design ejects dust, debris, fibres & fabric threads from the mechanism during operation making these units suitable for many industrial and home applications.

The 'cushioning' effect of the large main ball copes easily with uneven ground conditions (asphalt, concrete or tiled flooring) but is equally gentle of marble or wooden 'parquet' flooring. The Omniball is available in 4 variations with differing fixing options for easy installation and retro-fitting/replacement of conventional furniture castors. The 50B model now incorporates a "Park” or “Brake” facility.
