Founded in 1962 Fluorocarbon Company Ltd has grown to become one of the UK’s largest fluoropolymer processor and a global supplier of PTFE and polymer related components,engineering plastics and stock shapes. High Performance Surface Coatings
At Fluorocarbon we have been applying specialist industrial surface coatings for over 40 years. Our breadth of experience and technical expertise enables us to offer the right coating solution for each individual application.
As a leading coatings provider we offer a wide range of fluoropolymers such as PTFE, PFA, ECTFE and ETFE backed up by our strong partnerships with major suppliers including DUPONT (Teflon® ), Whitford (Xylan®), Solvay (Halar®) and Arkema (Rilsan®).
Hoses
Fluoroline® PTFE hose assemblies give excellent service to a wide range of industries such as the chemical, laundry and automotive industries. We supply an extensive range of hose assemblies for numerous industrial applications including: smoothbore braided, convoluted hoses, chlorine hoses , vent hoses and generator hoses.
Industrial Bakeware
FBS Prestige (incorporating Fluorocarbon Bakeware Systems Ltd and Prestige Industrial Ltd) is at the forefront of designing and manufacturing the next generation in industrial bakeware solutions. Systems are structured to supply equipment across a wide range of markets within the food processing and baking industries.
More than just a manufacturer, we develop specifically designed standard and custom made bakeware including: bread tins, barbanded trays and baking moulds required for high volume production on all types of automated handling and conveying systems.
PTFE and Melt Fluoropolymer Machined Components
We specialise in the precision machining of fluoropolymer materials into complex PTFE components for use throughout many markets. Our state of the art manufacturing facilities include milling, turning centres, multi axis CNC and sliding head machines and CNC lathes.
Moulded Components
Utilising our extensive injection, compression and transfer moulding facilities we convert the widest range of melt fluoropolymers and advanced engineering thermoplastics into precision component parts. In addition, complex PTFE components are produced by isostatic and automatic moulding processes.
PU and Rubber Finished Products
Fluorocarbon’s team of engineers can design, develop and specify a range of elastomeric components to meet the demands of a variety of applications. Products include: pipe clamps, grommets, bellows, diaphragms and bump-stops.
Engineering Plastics and Stock Shapes
Our 40+ years experience in the manufacture of PTFE and melt fluoropolymers coupled with a wide range of company owned virgin and blended fluoropolymer grades provides us with the leading edge in engineering plastics and stock shapes. Our range includes: PTFE rod, tube, sheet, tape and melt fluoropolymers.
PTFE Seals
We are dedicated to the design and manufacture of high performance seals and bearings to suit specific needs. In addition to our bespoke designed seals we offer a full range of standard seals including elastomeric and spring energised seals, polyurethane, rotary shaft, Fluoroglide® bearings and metallic sealing rings.
PTFE Slide Bearings and Skidways
Utilising our range of Fluorinoid® load bearing low friction materials we have gained a global reputation for providing slide bearing solutions to the construction and oil industries.
Valve Seats
We manufacture a wide range of PTFE soft seat configurations across many industries supplying major global customers. Applications include: valve seats and seat inserts, valve stem seals, valve liners and linings.
