Collinson

Collinson, operate in four main industry sectors and have diverse range of products available within each. We only put our Collinson name to products and projects we trust and this is reflected in our service to our customers.

Our main sectors include:

  • Agricultural
  • Biomass
  • Construction
  • BIGDOOR

If you would like to meet with us, you are welcome to visit our factory and showroom. Or get in touch, we are happy to come to you.

Silos

We have been designing and manufacturing smooth-walled, cylindrical galvanised steel silos since 1962. Our silos have evolved to accommodate the changing needs of today’s farmer. With over 100 models with capacities up to 40 tonnes. Our silos are designed to accommodate a diverse range of feeds, applications and budgets.

Conveyors

Agricultural Conveyors

An efficient feed distribution system saves time, by reducing the cost of labour it will also save you money. The Collinson range of conveyors includes; centreless, shaft driven, chain and disc, cable and disc, all with high reliability in operation.

Biomass Conveyors

Conveying is the best way to get wood pellets from the silo to the boiler, this eliminates dust and manual handling.

Feeders

We supply a wide range of high quality feeding systems designed to maximise feeding efficiency for the pig, poultry and dairy sectors.

Biomass

We design and manufacture innovative biomass silos, suitable for wood pellets. Wood pellets are a sustainable source of energy usually made of highly compressed sawdust, just by the nature of manufacture dust can be generated during handling and as such can create a potentially explosive atmosphere.

Our biomass silos do not have a source of ignition however if any potential source of ignition are fixed to the silo a detailed risk assessment must be carried out by the operator. Our biomass silos are suitable for installations to heat civic and public buildings including schools, hospitals and libraries.

BIGDOOR

BIGDOOR™ is a hydraulic system which can be used with new builds or fitted into existing buildings. All our doors are designed, manufactured, installed and supported by Collinson in the UK
