Elgamec has provided impact metal surface finishing services since 1978. We specialise in shot blasting, bead blasting, grit blasting and shot peening, vapour blasting. We are based in Aldershot, Hampshire and supply clients all over the UK.
We are focused on quality, where attention to detail has allowed Elgamec to engage in bringing various finishes to specialist technical areas where quality is vital. This dedication to quality means we are trusted in major projects, such as the Thrust SSC Land Speed Record project.
To prove our processes are up to the highest level possible, we have been independently certified to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
E a broad range of customers requirements, from exhibition displays to architectural components Elgamec can process a wide size range from tiny instrument components in hand cabinets, to large fabrications in our 15ft x 7ft x 7ft rooms.

Shot Blasting
Surface cleaning of a wide variety of components. Garden gates, automotive parts, garden furniture, motorcycle frames, radiators and much more. A 15ft x 7ft x 7ft Shot Blasting room is available for this metal surface finishing process.
Grit Blasting
Grit Blasting is a metal surface finishing process where abrasive particles are pneumatically accelerated and forcefully directed against a surface. These high speed abrasive particles remove contaminants from the materials surface and condition the surface for subsequent finishing.
