Gauges are used to check metal thickness for corrosion in applications such as ship surveys, lighting columns, road tankers, bridges, pipelines, storage tanks, cranes, pilings, pressure vessels, portable gas containers, offshore platforms, phone masts, lock gates and quality assurance metal thickness checks.

The range includes the Multigauge 5500 Thickness Meter for hands free use, the Multigauge 5600 General Purpose thickness gage, the Multigauge 3000 Underwater Thickness Gauge for use underwater and the Multigauge 4000 Series Thickness Gauge for mounting onto Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV).
