Bellwood Motor Rewinds Ltd was incorporated in 1998 and operates from their 7000 square foot modern rewind facility in Hartlepool.

We specialize in all aspects of electric motor repair up to around 500Kw. We carry out Motor rewinds and are certified to quality assurance standard ISO9001:2008 (certificate number A9056). Our workshop is very well equipped with modern machinery and our team is on hand 24/7 to help with any problems our customers may encounter.

Our modern workshop can carry out the rewind and overhaul of electric motors up to 5 tons in weight. This includes AC and DC motors.

All AC & DC electric motor repairs are carried out in house and are fully compliant with ISO9001:2008. All our repairs carry our standard 12 months warranty.

We have full test facilities so you can be assured every motor has been through our rigorous test procedure prior to dispatch.

We rewind and refurbish all types of transformers, brakes and clutches.

We have our own in house transformer department that undertakes the rewind of transformers up to around 500Kva.

We can also rewind/ manufacture solenoid coils, clutch coils and brake coils. Our services are available on our 24/7 emergency service to account customers.

Here at Bellwood Rewinds Limited we are fully certified to repair and overhaul equipment certified for use in hazardous areas (mines, petrochemical, sewage, chemical, oil rigs etc...).

We have all necessary equipment to repair any EX/ ATEX motor back to original manufacturing standards. All equipment is returned to site with our standard 10 page EX report ensuring that you keep those important records up to date.

We stock a vast array of motor spare parts to suit many manufacturers’ motors. These parts include cooling fans, fan covers, terminal blocks and terminal boxes, bearing cartridges, insulators and capacitors.

We have can carry out a range of mechanical/ dynamic balancing services. We have our own in house machine shop where we can sleeve bearing housings, reclaim shafts by metal spraying.

We also have our own Cemb Hoffman dynamic balancing machine that we can balance rotating components down to ISO G 1mm.

We hold large stocks of new motors and drives on our shelves for dispatch 24/7. We hold motors up to 55Kw in 2 and 4 pole.

We also hold one of the only stocks of EEXD motors in the north of England. Out stock of EEXD motors goes up to 37Kw. We can also supply a range of starters/ inverter packages top suit any motor that you may have. Ask about our energy surveys for more information.

We hold large stocks of diesel generating sets in stock. All our sets are fully load tested in house using our 900Kva load bank. We also carry out generator repair/ servicing and complement our service by holding vast quantities of generator spares such as AVR units, fuel pumps etc…
