Condor Soft Bags are manufactured to suit your specific requirements from the best materials available. All bags are custom designed to provide exactly the right level of protection against knocks and the weather. All Condor Soft Bags are made from 610g/m2 PVC coated polyester cloth with a 100g/m2 blue cotton lining, padded with 19mm thick flame retardant foam. All seams are fully stitched for long life. A free measuring service is available for items too large to ship to us.
The Condor Alu-Side Case
The Condor Alu-Side Case is the logical choice for casing presentation samples, tool kits or microphone systems. These cases are comprised of extruded aluminum sides with inset panels. Panels may be selected from the complete colour/material range providing the overall panel thickness does not exceed 7mm. Maximum internal height is 145mm. When fitted with a briefcase insert Condor Aluside Cases make robust and stylish briefcases.
The Condor Air Case
The Condor Air Case also utilises 7mm thick panels, but the use of case-maker enables cases significantly larger than the Condor Alu-Side Case to be fabricated. All conventional styles such as hinged, top-hat, or lift-off are available. Front or and/or rear lids may also be specified.
The exterior may be customised by choosing from the full list of available options.
The Condor Road Case
The Condor Road Case was developed primarily for the music industry but is now used in a wide varity of industries by companies wishing to transport large heavy items around the world safely.
Panel material is generally 10mm thick but in some instances may need to be as much as 13mm. Once again the full range of panel options may be used as can the extensive range of exterior customising options.
The Condor Anti-Elements Case
The Condor Anti-Elements Case is a development of the Condor Air and Road Cases. These provide the ultimate in environmental protection and are particularly recommended for marine or desert use.
These cases are fitted with double O-ring lid seals and all fittings are bedded onto neoprene gaskets providing considerable resistance to water and dust ingress.
The Condor Modular Case
The Condor Modular Case is a stylish aluminum briefcase featuring flush ABS corners and a streamlined aluminum shell. This case style is particularly suitable for protecting delicate or valuable instrumentation. A wide range of 7mm thick panel materials is used providing a large choice of external colours and textures.
The use of modular aluminum extrusions enables cases to be produced with internal heights ranging from 40mm to 200mm, the double walls of the extrusions ensures that the inside of these cases are totally smooth.
The Condor Fibre Case
The Condor Fibre Case provides a low cost option when your budget is tight. The cases are normally made from 1.8mm thick Polypropylene sheet, which is available in a wide range of colours. Traditional vulcanised fibreboard is also used when requested by the customer, however, weather and wear resistance are substantially poorer than polypropylene and there is a reduced choice of colours which are also less vibrant than those of Polypropylene.
All Condor Fibre Cases have steel reinforced rims for added rigidity. A wide choice of exterior fittings is available ensuring that although budget priced Condor Fibre Cases provide the quality, versatility and durability you expect.
The Condor Insert
CONDOR CASES offer a full CAD/CAM design service for all routed inserts. Program's may be produced from customer drawings or sketches; in addition layouts may be designed directly from the customers equipment. Condor Inserts can be supplied separately or fitted into cases. Applications include tool kits, medical equipment and display items. With dual colour Condor Inserts missing components are instantly noticed. Low programming charges mean that even a single routed insert can be produced economically.
CNC Routing
At Condor Cases for our CNC routing we have the use of an AXYZ 4010 router with a 10' x 5' bed and twin carriage one of which has quick tool change facility making it a very versatile machine for routing a variety of materials, the CNC router is programmed through toolpath software designed and supplied by AXYZ which accepts DXF and PLT files. With this machine we can rout a variety of materials up to depths of 100mm. No matter if it's large lettering, complex shapes, foam inserts, one off panels or the smallest of engraving this machine capable of routing it. So if it's a flight case you are looking for or any CNC machining then the CNC routing at Condor Cases will insure you are getting a top quality and accurate product every time.
CAD Design
At Condor Cases are designers use TurboCAD for the design of our flight cases and CNC machining we have found this to be an excellent and very cost effective CAD programme which uses TCW as it's standard file format but will also accept DWG and DXF files along with many others. With this one program we can design the internal layout of the flight cases as well as external representation of what the cases will look like when complete, we are also able to draw 3D images within this program, and all panel drawings for our transit cases, foam insert drawings and most of our CNC Routed projects are all designed within TurboCAD.
Condor Special Projects
CONDOR CASES regularly undertakes design projects on behalf of its customers. Many of these projects centre around, but are not limited to, packaging or presentational problems that cannot be resolved simply by providing a case. Often equipment has to perform an operational function whilst in the case, this may require the provision of electrical, pneumatic or even hydraulic supplies to the equipment.
The equipment may be vulnerable to impact or vibration requiring special provisions to be made to protect it. Laboratory instrumentation and computer equipment are particularly vulnerable to damage when used in the field.
CONDOR CASES is able to call on the wide experience of the partners; ranging from aerospace, offshore oil and gas technology to electrical installations to offer specialist services rarely provided by other case manufactures. CONDOR CASES will look at any problem you have, if we do not have the answer we will certainly know someone who does.

Flight Cases Construction
Flight Case Construction
Our flight case panels come in standard thicknesses 7mm, 9mm and 13mm we also use a 4.5mm panel for some of our module briefcases, there are a variety of panel types now used by flight case manufacturers here are some of the most common used at Condor Cases;
Astoboard: this is a polypropylene honeycomb panel which is 40% lighter than the equivalent wood, being plastic this panel tends to flex rather than crack when hit hard making it a lightweight and tough, available in 4.5mm Black, 7mm Black, Blue, Red, Silver and 10mm Black.
PVC: available as smooth or rigid (textured) PVC and on either far eastern or birch ply it comes in the same colours as the astoboard and is available in 4.5mm, 7mm, 9mm and 13mm.
Laminate: a tougher option to the PVC again available in 7mm, 9mm and 13mm far eastern a birch ply but with a wider range of colours to choose from.
Hexagrip: a birch ply overlaid with a phenol or UV resistant film on both faces, one face with a special hexagon surface pattern the reverse is smooth, available in 7mm, 9mm 13mm.
At extra cost we can also vinyl wrap some panels to offer a truly bespoke flight case.
Flight Case Extrusions:
Condor Cases prefer to use a double angle extrusion none as casemaker for the majority of there flight cases, not only does this make for a stronger case but also speed and ease of use during construction and when damaged panels need to be replaced, they are available in 7mm 9mm and 13mm, single angle is used when a more water and weather sealed case is needed. Condor Cases also produce an alu-side case using extrusions designed to create a briefcase style case these extrusions are known as basemaker that comes in 80mm, 100mm and 120mm and lidmaker that comes in 45mm this will give an internal height of 105mm, 125mm, 145mm.
Flight Case Internals:
Interiors may vary from a simple stained trunk, foam linings, partitions, drawers, and rackstrip for 19" rackmount equipment to an intricate routed foam insert designed to provide full, yet economic, protection for your equipment.
Shock loads to delicate equipment can be controlled to a specified maximum 'G' by careful selection of foam densities and the relative area/volume ratio of the foam.
Plasma Cases
Plasma, LCD Cases & LED Cases
Protecting your plasma screens is made easier with our custom built flight cases, designed to withstand the rigours of touring and keeping your screens fully protected during transport. Manufactured in our Norwich warehouse using top quality panels and hardware, we know in our range of plasma cases there will be a flight case to suit your needs and budget.
Plasma Cases
Plasma cases from Condor Cases will give you screen the maximum amount of protection, we can provide many variants of plasma cases to suit your needs from simple foam blocking to CNC routed foam inserts to match the profile of your screen. Our flight cases can also be fitted with an inner compartment on vibration mounts almost like a case within a case to absorb more shock; both these styles of case can be designed to one or multiple plasma screens and with compartments for speakers, brackets and cables.
Electric Lift Plasma Cases
At the higher end of our range is the electric lift plasma case these cases will have and electric lift designed for flat screens fitted into the base of the flight case this will be wired into an IEC fitted into the side of the case and a remote control sensor at the front of the flight case (remote control provided), the lid will have the usual foam blocking or foam inserts in like the other flight cases. These cases also include the latest LCD cases and LED cases no matter how thin the screen we can protect it for you
Mixer Cases
Mixer Cases
Condor Cases provide protective cases for many hire companies which because the nature of there business a high level of protection is needed for the mixer units, these cases tend to be transport only flight cases and usually consist of corner foam blocks or CAD designed foam routed profiles to match the shape of the mixer, this gives a good amount of shock resistance to flight cases that are transported from place to place more than most.
Bespoke Mixer Cases
Condor Cases also provide custom built mixer cases, DJ equipment cases, broadcast equipment cases and audio visual cases; where the mixer will be used within the case this can be achieved in a number of ways.
Top Hat: This is a flight case where the base is very shallow with minimum contact to the mixer and the larger lid containing the majority of the supporting foam, once at your venue just remove the lid and you have all the space around the mixer to connect your cables.
Rack Mounted: If your mixer comes or can be fitted with rack ears then these flight cases are for you, the rackstrip can be fitted to the flight case flat or at a preferred angle to suit you or a tilting rack frame can be fitted so the angle of the mixer can be changed at any time, these cases can be constructed with multiple lids and fitted with IEC.
