Cenpart Barrier Systems
A well placed crash barrier is the economical solution to prevent costly accidents occurring in all sorts of situations. “Armco” type barriers (as seen on highways) are the most widely used to separate moving vehicles from vulnerable locations.
Importantly though, the dynamics of impact presented in off road applications for crash barrier are very different to those on public highways. Instead of high speed impacts at acute angles the impacts are usually at low speed and head on. This requires a different approach than the highways application in which the posts are designed to collapse under impact. Using the same beam elements with a variety of available posts, protection can be achieved in any situation.

Corner and Column Protection and Wheel Guides
Our Guardian Corner Frames wrap around corners to protect them and are particularly useful when fitted at either side of an opening in a building that is trafficked by vehicles or forklifts. A range of sizes allow you to match to the vehicle size that is endangering your corner, and as they are available to be cast in or bolted down to enable easy retro-fit to unforseen problem areas. They can be supplied galvanised only or in any RAL colour, single or striped.
Columns are usually a vital structural component of a building and it is essential to protect them from carelessly driven or errant vehicles. From simple sand-filled cowlings through to very tightly radiused Armco circles, Cenpart is able to offer a solution.
When an unaligned reversing vehicle approaches a loading bay there is the potential for expensive damage to the fabric of your building, the dock levellers or even other vehicles. Our tubular Wheel Guides define the line that a vehicle should follow and keep it centred to the bay. They are available to be cast in or bolted down to enable easy retro-fit and can be supplied galvanised only or in any RAL colour, single or striped.
