Design is at the heart of every great product, and Denroy Plastics Ltd has a comprehensive design facility, including 4 high-powered Workstations, running a variety of Computer Aided engineering packages.

Specialising in the design and manufacture of plastics injection moulded components for a variety of markets Denroy's technical team work closely with customers from initial concept giving advice on component design for ease of manufacture and also assistance with material selection. Denroy's close links with raw material suppliers ensure the optimal solution to satisfy customer specifications. This approach reduces the timescale from concept design to market.

Starting with your initial concept, product ideas are channeled through Design for Manufacture viability studies to a finished 3D CAD model. This can be tested for good moulding results, using in-house analysis, and reiterated back to the CAD model.

Designs can also be sent directly to our toolroom, via our secure internal network, for rapid machining or tool and fixture manufacture. Years of technical moulding experience are brought to bear in the initial stages of each project to make sure that you get the shortest lead-time possible.

A toolroom with more than 3,000 proprietary tools is indicative of the vast experience which Denroy Plastics has accumulated in this sector.

In addition to supporting the design and manufacture of new injection mould tools, we also offer a highly effective repair and modification service to outside companies on a sub-contract basis.

When the occasion arises where we need to supply a tool from another source, we work seamlessly with the specific tried and tested toolmakers in Europe and Asia, and take full responsibility for the project from start to finish.

Our modern manufacturing facilities offers 34 injection moulding machines (including twin shot moulding) with capacities from 5 to 800 tonnes and encompasses the latest software for process set-up and repeatability.

Robotic handling equipment is incorporated to maximise high quality output through consistent cycling.

Extensive secondary processes are carried out including sub-assembly, pad printing, hot foil stamping, spray painting, bristling, tipping, ultrasonic welding, routing and vacuum annealing.

Considerable use is made of ERP software for all forecasting, scheduling and order processing requirements. The recently acquired "In-house" monitoring system enables constant tracking of all shop floor activities therefore reducing production run times and failures.
