Caterpillar skates and rigger kits.

Boxed sets of steel roller caterpillar skates. Supplied in sets to carry loads up to 20 tonnes or 50 tonnes. Each kit comprises:

• 4 x skates
• 2 x turntables
• 2 x stabilizers
• 2 x handles
• 4 x s/bars
• 1 x handmade strong wooden carry case

For extra maneuverability, kits can be supplied with 4 turntables.

Economical and ideal for general workshop moving jobs, all types of machine tools, fabrication etc.

Dorvic caterpillar action skates operate by the action of an endless roller chain revolving around the centre member of the body, this allows very large weights to be supported and moved. This principle provides an extremely low coefficient of friction, usually between around 3% to 7% of total load.

Supplied in various designs and capacities. Models from 15 tonnes to 400 tonnes per skate. Can be used in multiples, either normally in the chain downward position or inverted to act as a skid bank.
