LOW profile Hydraulic Torque Wrenches
Aware of the difficulties associated with flange bolting, the new Christie LOW profile wrenches have an open hexagon to fit directly onto the nut or bolt head. This tooling is ideal for use on applications with limited overhead access or with fasteners having excessive thread protrusion. LOW tools are easy to handle and position due to the light Titanium alloy construction, reversible ratchet system, and swivel 360 degree connections. The use of hexagon reducing sleeves can make each hexagon head versatile for a range of smaller fasteners. Where larger hexagon sizes are necessary, the easy-change, detachable head, requires no additional tooling and therefore minimises downtime.
IBT Series Square Drive Hydraulic Torque Wrench
The versatility of the IBT makes it the ideal general purpose and maintenance tool. A detachable square drive allows the fitting of Interchangeable direct fit outputs, including impact sockets, and male hexagonal Allen drives for the safe tightening and loosening of socket head cap screws. The 360 degree splined reaction, square drive anti-reverse ratchet, and 360 degree swivel connection, increases the flexibility of the IBT tool.
C-RAD Pneumatic Torque Tool
Christie RAD (C-RAD) pneumatically powered torque tools provide hard hitting performance in the toughest conditions, rapidly tightening or removing threaded fasteners, without impact or vibration exposure to operators. A unique silencer adaptation reduces noise outputs, removing the need for hearing protection.
These tools are small, light, and portable yet strong and built to last, the perfect choice for serious engineers committed to reducing down-time and costs.
With a comprehensive range of models, torques of 20 Nm to a staggering 100,000 Nm are available and tooling accuracy is supported with the supply of a dedicated calibration certificate. Time is precious so the two speed option allows tightening and un-tightening operation up to 5 times faster than normal operating speed.
Christie Offset Gearbox with C-RAD Pneumatic Torque Wrench
Designed for high speed tightening and untightening of fasteners with overhead obstructions, or nuts with protruding threads, the Christie Offset Gearbox (COG) efficiently transfers power directly from tool to fasteners at an impressive 2.6:1 multiplication. Standard COG systems, with C-RAD pneumatic power tool and hexagon output, are available for hire.
BC-RAD Battery Torque Tool
There are times when a lack of air or electric power will compromise response times. Traditional hand multipliers are often too slow and too big, whilst torque wrenches are cumbersome or inappropriate when hindered by insufficient operating room.
The new BC-RAD series of battery powered torque delivery tool is the consummate solution for tightening and un-tightening fasteners when you need a high performance tool, in situations independent of power.

VC-RAD Electric Torque Tool
Unlike most electric torque tools the simple to use 'plug & play' VC-RAD design eliminates the need for control cabinets and the installation and set up of complicated software.
This new range of electric torque tools are available in both 110 and 240 volt motors, alleviating the problem of poor quality air supply, often associated with its' pneumatic counterparts.
The VC-RAD tools come individually calibrated and housed complete with the reaction arm and operators manual in a weatherproof storage container.
CR/CCR Hydraulic Torque Wrench
The Compact Ratchet (CR) and Compact Cassette Ratchet (CCR) range of hydraulic tool remains a faithful member of Christies' products range for two distinct reasons:
1.Its full steel construction ensures strength and integrity preventing corrosion in any environment, therefore guaranteeing tool longevity - Christie have CR and CCR tools on its hire fleet used regularly since 1991.
2.The ability to customise the range and supply one off specials specific to individual needs - typical application successes include sub-sea valves, blow out preventors, slew rings, and studded/bolted flanges above and below ground.
