ECF Special Alloys Ltd - Pressure Vessels

We specialise in pressure vessels and are an ISO 9001 and ASME U Stamp approved fabricator for the numerous industries including offshore, oil and gas, and petrochemical process plant industries. We manufacture pressure vessels from exotic materials to match individual clients' design quotas.

The pressure vessels were completed by us in March. They are production gas scrubbers destined for the Alpha and Delta oil field in the North Sea. Our engineers developed brand new weld procedures specific for this offshore project to enable standard Duplex 2205 weld metal to meet ASME G48 corrosion testing.

We are expert fabricators of shell and tube heat exchangers. We fabricate heat exchangers utilising a complete range of exotic materials.

An example of our capabilities includes the production of a heat exchanger for a contract for Zeta Ltd, fabricated from LT50 carbon steel. The heat exchanger was 1.5m diameter x 2m long x 15mm thick.

We specialise in the fabrication and delivery of filters. Some of our most popular contracts consist of the fabrication of filters.

We fabricated a filter for SPX Plenty Process Filtration, destined for the Al Shaheen Field Development. The exotic materials the vessel was fabricated from were 6 MO, Inconel 625 and LT50.

We specialise in hoppers. We fabricate hoppers for clients such as water authorities.
