Our advanced 3D tube profiling machines are able to offer various weld preparations to suite the individual customer's welding specification.
The profiling heads on our TPC 1000 cutting machines are able to rotate 360° and up to 67° in the angle. This means that the customer is able to specify different weld preparations at the heel and toe zones.

With no need for time consuming, labour intensive templates and grinding, PP ProTube is the only Company in the UK able to offer a free issue CNC flame & plasma tube profiling service up to 1016mm in diameter.

Working with offshore fabricators from around the Europe, we have produced many subsea structures for the Oil & Petrochemical industry. These have included anything from subsea manifolds, protection structures, PLEM units, top sides and jackets.

P.P. ProTube has worked on various wind turbines & wind farms, our expertise in profiling large diameter tube has lead to us working on some of the largest wind farms in the UK. Beatrice, Alpha Ventus, Greater Gabbard and more recently, the Ormonde, have all been serviced using our HGG TPC 1000 machines.

The P.P. Group started trading in 1976 from its Walkden site in Lancashire. Operating from a basement of a cotton mill the Group started to profile all grades and thickness of metals and quickly built a reputation for a reliable and honest service.

In order to maximise the capabilities of the Group and encapsulate the full potential of the organisation, the Group purchased additional sites in St. Helens, Merseyside and central Salford, Manchester. It was now that the divisions seperated into companies under the P.P. umbrella.
