The DAD Group has been designing and manufacturing steel security products since 1872. We were the first mailboxes and postboxes manufacturer in Europe with over one million units produced every year. All DAD's Mailboxes will take standard A4 size mail, conform to BS EN 13724 and Royal mail compliant. Our extensive range of Postboxes comply to Secured by Design New Homes Guide 2010 and are available in any RAL colour. DAD Post Boxes have a lockable door with a security lock complete with 2 numbered keys. These Mailboxes are manufactured at our UK premises. In situations where there is not enough wall space, the wall cavity is not very deep or the mailboxes are simply required to stand alone, the DAD freestanding mailboxes range provides a number of well-designed solutions to meet these requirements.

DAD Free-standing Post Boxes are available in Horizontal or Vertical range. Made of Electro-galvanised steel with door and flap also available in Aluminium or stainless steel. An internal anti-theft device is fitted as standard behind the flap and it also has good weatherproof features.

In most cases of front delivery and front retrieval, the mailboxes are mounted onto or flush into the wall. These mailboxes can be positioned either outside against a wall or on an internal wall in a lobby area.
 

DAD Wall Mounted Post Boxes are made of Electro-galvanised steel with door and flap available in Aluminium or stainless steel. All mailboxes will take standard A4 size mail. The curved flap design enhances the appearance and each flap has gasket seals to ensure water tightness. An internal anti-theft device is fitted as standard behind the flap and it also has good weatherproof features. All Mailboxes have a lockable door with a security lock complete with 2 numbered keys.
 

Through The Wall mailboxes:
The mailboxes in this range are designed to be built into masonry cavity walls. They can either be installed as single units or grouped together in multi-tenanted buildings requiring a collective delivery point.

Post Boxes are available in Horizontal range. The body is from of Electro-galvanised steel in a two part telescopic construction, which simply slides out to suit any wall thickness between 260mm and 465mm. Available in different overall widths, the units are designed to accept standard A4 mail.

This type of mailbox system is the most appealing for front delivery and rear retrieval. The front plate mailbox delivery system can be fitted on entrance door through a single/double glazing panel or in any frame. Its one-piece design makes the unit neat and offers the latest improvements against vandalism.

Made to measure, the front plate is made of 3mm (also available in 10mm, 18mm, 24mm, 28mm) thick aluminium or stainless steel and can be adapted to any configurations. The curved flap design enhances the appearance. Each flap has gasket seals to ensure water-tightness.

 These mailboxes are available in many finishes and sizes to suit any exterior or interior location.

DAD UK in association with the Fire Research Laboratory worked together to create a Fire Rated Post box.

Particularly suitable for the installation of Mailboxes in Lobbies, Designated Fire Escape Routes and Post rooms. Suitable for surface fixing, free standing wall recessing and panel fixing.

The Fire Rate Post box is a high specification mailbox manufactured from Electro-Galvenized steel then polyester powder coated to a depth of 75/100 microns. All sample are tested to 1,200 hours salt-water spray. The assemblies satisfy the integrity criterion given in BS476: Part 20: 1987, for a period of 60 minutes. Fitted with inward sprung letter plate incorporating intumescent linings to flap aperture.
