At Galtec, we have always had a philosophy of continued investment in the latest technology enabling us to offer an efficient manufacturing solution to our customers latest designs.

Our 5-axis machining capability has just been enhanced by the installation of a brand new DMU 50 supplied in July, 2011 by DMG UK.

This has enabled us to offer more 5-axis capacity to our customers to meet the ever demanding lead times required in the modern manufacturing environment.

When we were founded in 2000, with a very clear aim to provide unrivaled precision engineering in Hampshire. We identified a need for this expertise in a variety of industries operating at the cutting edge of engineering technology.

From these small beginnings, we have steadily grown over the last few years, and now only employ highly skilled time served engineers. By concentrating on innovative high precision projects with ultra-demanding customers, we have gained an enviable reputation for excellence in all its work.

We have established ourselves in several cutting edge markets including aerospace, oil field, F1 and motor sport. In many cases this has been through recommendation. We have held ISO 9000:2001 accreditation since 2001 and uphold strict quality control procedures through every stage of manufacture. Our modern workshop is temperature controlled to ensure the highest level of precision for the aerospace, oil field, F1 and motor sport markets.

We specialise in CNC milling to produce high quality components. We have a collection of the latest CNC milling machines including: 

• 2 X  Bridgeport VMC Machining Centres
• 1 X YCM High Speed Machining Centre
• 2 X DMG 5-axis Machining Centres  

We are experts in CNC turning solutions. We provide excellent CNC turning using:

• 1 X Ecoca SJ-20HT with Multifeed Barfeed
• 1 X Ecoca SJ-25HT with 10˜ Chuck
• 1 X Goodway GA-280 with 10˜ Chuck and 3˜ Through Bore

We carry out routine inspection on all components produced to ensure the highest quality results. Our inspection is carried out using:

• 1 X Aberlink CMM
• 1 X Profile Projector with Edge Detector
