The engineering services provider, MAHLE Powertrain Ltd, is a separate profit centre of MAHLE GmbH which has three divisions: Engineering, Manufacturing and Test Systems in different locations worldwide. Three Locations in Great Britain: Northampton, Wellingbourgh and Worcester, a location in Germany: Stuttgart, a location in the USA: Novi, a location in Brazil: Sao Paulo, a location in Japan: Okegawa and a location in China: Shanghai.
With engineers based at MAHLE R&D centres in Northampton, Stuttgart, Shanghai, Detroit and Sao Paulo, we support all major OEMs on a truly global basis.

TEST SYSTEMS
MAHLE Test Systems provide our customers with a unique combination of support capabilities - access to the latest engine component and subsystem technologies from our parent company MAHLE, research and development of these technologies to create pioneering powertrain solutions, the experience of taking these advanced engines into production and finally our ability to apply these capabilities into world class testing and diagnostic solutions for global vehicle manufacturers. These solutions provide manufacturing testing, dealership service diagnostics and data reporting applications with proven capability and agility.
Our capabilities are proven in the global footprint of our product install base. Our software and hardware are in over 9000 dealership locations, 46 vehicle manufacturing plants across 5 continents and in 33 languages. Our testing solutions are used on over 8 million vehicles a year.
Our agility is proven by our customers wide ranging applications. One of the advantages of MAHLE Test Systems’ software is the ability to partition the product expert and tool expert tasks. This allows the customer to develop their diagnostics more efficiently with reduced structural costs in headcount and support.
