Our special guide units to customer specifications includes, on request, the manufacture of guide pillars, steel sleeves and ball cages, as well as complete ball sleeve units in line with customers drawings.

Our customer specific products also include the reworking of catalogue products and the manufacturing of new items. Our experience and expertise in the area of guide elements ensures we can competently assist our customers with the selection and specification. For the die-sets, our customer specification manufacture includes reworking of cast iron die-sets and the production of complete die-sets, with and without custom processing, in steel and aluminium.

Depending on the design and guidance, guide elements can be manufactured for a column diameter of approximately 3 to 140mm, as a single element or specially paired guiding unit, and various materials and rolling elements can be used for specific applications such as injection moulds, food or medical areas, these include:

• Ball cages made of plastic such as POM or special plastic for use at high temperatures
• Roller cages with profile rollers enabling a linear transmission contact, for use at very high radial loads, but at low stroke speeds

We offer round fine centering for mould construction and the benefits include durability on mass production, short cycle times, and high initial capacity at centering start, low total cost, and greater design freedom. 

Our round fine centering with preloaded rolling elements suitable for demanding injection moulding applications are also suitable for mass production and for closing mould halves accurately. The pre-centering enables us to gently close the slides and the injection-moulded parts are removed from the mould carefully.

Our round fine centering is done to Standard 7990 and as well as low manufacturing costs the items has:

• Little to no maintenance, use with minimal lubrication quantity
• Almost two rows of rollers simultaneously placed in the preload in a short sequence - this guarantees a high initial capacity and a long useful life
• Initial capacity equivalent to the carrying capacity of 16-ball rows
• Lifetime extended by rotating the centering unit by each time 120°
• Used without lubricant, due to the extremely low abrasion even in clean rooms

Dadco is a leading specialist in nitrogen gas spring technology and offers a complete line of nitrogen gas springs, nitrogen gas spring lifters, ISO air cylinders, and hydraulic core pins, as well as a range of accessories.

Dadco's products such as gas springs are widely approved and used in global stamping operations for many industries including metal stamping, automotive and plastic injection moulding.

Dadco’s new guide retainer sets and GRS series provides cost savings over common pins, bushings and spools by providing combined guidance and retention in one product.

The GRS series is available in three rod diameters - 25mm, 36mm and 50mm. All three sizes feature a robust one-piece housing with top and bottom wipers and have a range of stroke lengths to suit application requirements.

Save design, build, and installation time with Dadco's all-in-one approach to guided nitrogen gas spring lifters. They are available in eight models, including non-rotating and cushioned versions.

Nitrogen gas spring lifters are ideal for progressive dies and Dadco's models include SL.16 Nitrogen Gas Stock Lifter, SLN.090/SLN.180 Micro Nitrogen Gas Lifter, SLN.300 Non-Rotating Nitrogen Gas Lifter, and SLC.500 and SLC.800 Nitrogen Gas Spring Rail Lifter.

Constructed with long-lasting, high-temperature seals as standard, the DK series - hydraulic core pin cylinder can withstand temperatures inside plastic moulds of up to 204 degrees centigrade and for constant duty up to 260 degrees centigrade for short durations.

The core pin cylinder offers numerous porting advantages in addition to convenient, versatile mounting options. Standard stroke lengths are 13, 25, 50, 80, and 100mm and a variety of male and female rod end styles are available.
