We operate from a modern factory near Andover, Hampshire.

Products such as Glass Fibre pillars, GRP porches, canopies, cornices etc. would normally be made from stone, brick or timber that tend to be very heavy and require regular maintenance, whereas GRP is generally maintenance free and lightweight

Compared to the more traditional materials used in the automotive trade, GRP is seen as a more suitable material for low volume vehicle components due to its high strength to weight ratio and zero corrosion.

Custom Moulds and Moudlings Ltd produced 1.4 scaled GRP mouldings for this iconic VW Dormobile for an events company. The vehicle was subsequently fitted out with a fully operational fast food kitchen for use at large sporting and social events across the country.

GRP components which are part of a complete set of parts to make up the Allard Motor Car. We manufacture all the Allard parts using lightweight composite materials.

Custom Moulds and Mouldings Ltd manufactures the Drascombe range of boats for Churchouse Boats Ltd based in Whitchurch, Hampshire.

All boats are built to the customer’s specific requirements i.e. colour and optional topland or bootop stripes.

The GRP hull, deck and all ancillary items are hand laminated within our modern industrial unit, by our dedicated team of experienced and highly skilled GRP Laminators and finishers.

On our website are various photos of different stages of manufacture in our workshop, they show a GRP hull; a GRP deck; a boat with the inner deck fitted showing the glass fibre rudder trunking, centre board and buoyancy in place; the last photo shows the finishing touches being made prior to delivery.

Over the years Custom Moulds and Mouldings have been involved in a wide range of GRP projects. These photographs are but a small sample.

Custom Moulds and Mouldings manufacture GRP components for a Smartpod housing for a modular product assembly platform. GRP doors have Perspex windows fitted at our premises prior to delivery to our customer.

GRP formwork - Custom Moulds and Mouldings won the contract to produce a large quantity of GRP formwork for a project to repair concrete columns at St. Peter’s Port jetty in Guernsey. This included design calculations, patterns, Glass Fibre moulds and the manufacture of 900mmØ and 800mmØ GRP mouldings, together with the complexities of delivery to Guernsey.

Custom Moulds and Mouldings design, manufacture and install GRP simulator screens, this GRP screen was installed for a Formula 1 Driving Team, other GRP Screens recently installed include:- Welsh Police Driver Training Centre in Cardiff, Lincolnshire Life Skills Centre, Overseas Naval Training GRP Simulator, with other projects ongoing.
