HEX NUTS

A nut is a type of fastener with a thread hole. Nuts are almost always used opposite a mating bolt to fasten a stack of parts together. The two partners are kept together by a combination of their threads' friction, a slight stretch of the bolt, and compression of the parts. In applications where vibration or rotation may work a nut loose, various locking mechanisms may be employed: Adhesives, safety pins or lockwire, nylon inserts, or slightly oval-shaped threads. The most common shape is hexagonal for similar reasons as the bolt head - 6 sides give a good granularity of angles for a tool to approach from (good in tight spots), but more (and smaller) corners would be vulnerable to being rounding off. Other specialized shapes exist for certain needs, such as wing nuts for finger adjustment and captive nuts for inaccessible areas. Our product range includes: Din 439 Hexagon thin nuts (lock nuts), Form A= without bevel, Form B=with bevel, Din 934 Hexagon full nuts BS 3692, Din 935 Hexagon slotted and castle nuts, Din 936 Hexagon thin nuts (lock nuts), Din 555 Hexagon nuts black MS, Din 979 Hexagon thin slotted and castle nuts, Din 980 Prevailing torque type self locking nuts, M = nuts with metal inserts, N = nuts with nylon inserts, V = all-metal self locking nuts, Din 982 Prevailing torque type self locking nuts, heavy type, with nylon insert type "P", Din 985 Prevailing torque type self locking nuts with nylon insert nyloc "T", Din 986 Prevailing torque type domed cap nuts with nylon insert, Din 6330 Hexagon nuts, 1.5 d, Form A = regular face, Form B = one spherical face, Din 6331 Hexagon nuts with collar, 1.5 d, Din 6334 Hexagon nuts, 3 d

WASHERS

A washer is a thin plate (typically disk-shaped) with a hole (typically in the middle) that is normally used to distribute the load of a threaded fastener. Other uses are as a spacer, spring (Belleville washer, wave washer), wear pad, preload indicating device, and locking device. Our product range includes: Din 93 Tab washers and long tab, Din 125 Plain washers form A, Din 125 Hardened washers, core hardness 200 HP, Din 126 Plain washer, form C Washers, type 1, product code C, Din 127 Single coil spring lock washers Form A= tang ends, Form B= square ends, Din 128 Single coil spring lock washers Form A= curved, Form B= waved, Din 137 Spring washers Form A= curved, Form B= waved, Din 432 External tab washers, Din 433 Washers for cheese head screws, Din 434 Square taper washers for U-sections (8-degrees), Din 435 Square taper washers for I-sections (14-degrees), Din 436 Square washers, Din 1440 Washers for clevis pins, product code A, Din 1441 Washers for clevis pins, product code C, Din 2093 Disc springs - schnorr, Din 6319 Spherical washers, Din 6319 Conical washers, Din 6340 Washers, Din 6796 Conical spring washers similar to Bellville, Din 6799 Retaining rings for shafts (E-rings) / circlips, Din 7980 Single coil spring lock washers for hex. socket head cap screws, Din 9021 Washers, outside diameter approx. 3 d, Washers with large outside diameter

RIVETS

A rivet is a mechanical fastener. Before it is installed it consists of a smooth cylindrical shaft with a head on one end. The end opposite the head is called the buck-tail. On installation the rivet is placed in a pre-drilled hole. Then the tail is "upset" (i.e. deformed) so that it expands to about 1.5 times the original shaft diameter and holds the rivet in place. To distinguish between the two ends of the rivet, the original head is called the factory head and the deformed end is called the shop head or buck-tail. Because there is effectively a head on each end of an installed rivet it can support tension loads (loads parallel to the axis of the shaft); however, it is much more capable of supporting shear loads (loads perpendicular to the axis of the shaft). Bolts and screws are better suited for tension applications. Our product range includes: Din 124 Round head rivets, nominal dia. 10-36mm, Din 302 Csk head rivets nominal dia. 10-36mm, Din 660 Round head rivets, Din 661 Countersunk head rivets, Din 662 Raised countersunk head rivets, Din 674 Mushroom head rivets

GRUBSCREWS

Grub screws (or Setscrews) are generally a headless screw but can be any screw used to fix a rotating part to a shaft. The set screw is driven through a threaded hole in the rotating part until it is tight against the shaft. The most often used type is the socket set screw, which is tightened or loosened with a hex key or hex driver. Our product range includes: Din 404 Slotted capstan screws, Din 417 Slotted grub screws with full dog point, Din 427 Slotted grub screws with chamfered end, Din 438 Slotted grub screws with cup point, Din 551 Slotted grub screws with flat point, Din 553 Slotted grub screws with cone point

PINS

Cotter pins (also known as a cotter key or a split pin) is a metal fastener with two tines that are bent during installation, similar to a rivet. Typically made of wire with a half-circular cross section, cotter pins come in multiple sizes and types. A clevis pin will allow rotation of the connected parts about the axis of the pin. A clevis pin consists of a head, shank and hole. The hole passes through the shank at the opposite end of the pin from the head. A cotter pin is inserted through the hole to keep the clevis pin in place after assembly of the parts to be fastened. Products in our range included: Din 1 Taper Pins, Din 7 Parallel Pins, Din 94 Split pins (cotter pins), Din 1443, Din 1444, Din 1434, Din 1435, Din 1436 & Din 1445 Clevis pins with head, Din 1469, Din 1470, Din 1471, Din 1472, Din 1473, Din 1474, Din 1475, Din 1476, Din 1477 Groove pins, Din 1481 Spring pins, heavy type, Din 6325 Parallel pins, Din 7343 Spiral pins, Din 7344 Spiral pins, Din 7346 Spring pins, light type

LIFTING FASTENERS

Collar Eyebolts may be used up to the marked safe working load (SWL) for axial lifting only. Eyebolts with link offer considerable advantages over collar eyebolts when loading need to be applied at angles to the axis and/or the plane of the eye. Their SWL's are relatively greater than those of collar eyebolts used in the same condition and, unlike the collar eyebolt, the load can be applied at any angle to the plane of the eye.
