Lost Keys

Many schools experience problems with lost locker keys. Many of the lockers manufactured by Probe are available with a range of different lock types.

Combination locks

With over 10,000 possible combinations this lock offers an ideal solution to keeping your locker safe and secure. This lock also has a master key override function. If a student forgets the combination to their locker the master key can be used to reset the combination. For many schools this type of lock offers a perfect solution to the problem of lost keys.

Extra wide (610mm) high capacity locker designed for maximum personal storage. This high capacity locker has two fully adjustable shelves, one with hanging rail for maximum flexibility. High capacity lockers also have the maximum depth of 460mm to give the maximum possible storage capacity.
High capacity lockers can be supplied with either key locks (cam) or padlock style locks as standard. They can also be supplied with coin operated locks, combination locks or electronic locks.
Lockers are treated with ACTIVECOAT, an anti-bacterial powder coating for the most stringent hygienic environments.

Standard Changing Room Benches
Our standard changing room benches are 400mm high and 300mm deep. Frames are constructed from 38x38mm RHS steel and are available in a choice of four colours. Benches are supplied with three hardwood timber slats which are available in a choice of solid Ash or Sapele hardwood. Bench slats are sanded, sealed and lacquered with three coats of a tough, hardwearing satin lacquer. Changing room benches are available in six standard lengths. Available as single or double sided units, our cloakroom units are manufactured from high quality 38 x 38mm RHS steel with an expoxy powder coated finish. Seat slats are of 70 x 32mm sapele or ash timber, with four radiused corners and have been sanded, sealed and polished with a tough hard-wearing lacquer.
Cloakroom units are now supplied with virtually unbreakable plastic coat hooks manufactured from engineering grade nylon.

Coat rails are supplied in either Ash or Sapele hardwood timber. The baton is 70mm wide x 20mm thick with two 8mm radiused edges. The timber is sanded, sealed and lacquered with a tough hardwearing lacquer to give the coat rail a tough and durable finish which will last for many years.
Many companies and schools experience vandalism in the form of damaged and broken aluminium and metal coat hooks. To combat this problem all coat rails are now supplied with virtually unbreakable coat hooks made from strong, yet flexible engineering grade nylon. Repeated bending will not break these coat hooks and upon release the hook will return to its original position.

This is a new range of lockers with Solid Grade Laminate (SGL) doors fitted to a steel carcass with a unique strong hinge. The range has been designed with the Building Schools for the Future [BSF] programme in mind. This combination of materials gives you a locker with the advantages of the extra strength and visual appeal built to resist vandalism at an affordable price.

Laminate lockers are with available with 1, 2, 3 or 4 compartments.

Mesh lockers create a secure area to store a range of equipment and personal belongings.

Mesh allow you to view the contents of a locker without actually having to unlock it. This saves time when looking for stock or equipment and it also acts as a deterrent to theft and reduces shrinkage.

Wire mesh also allow far greater air circulation. This makes mesh lockers ideal for drying rooms where clothing and equipment can be kept securely as they dries. Mesh lockers have an electroplated bright zinc finish. All doors are supplied with a hasp and staple locking device. Padlocks are not included but can be purchased separately on the padlocks page.

Pre-drilled holes allows cube lockers to be bolted together in a formation of your choice. This makes the lockers particuarly suitable for tight and small spaces. By alternating the colours of Cube Lockers a random or chequerboard pattern can be created.

If space is at a premium then Twin Lockers are the answer. Twin Lockers offer each user a full height compartment fitted with an internal top shelf and double coat hook whilst keep the overall width of the locker to a minimum.
Twin lockers are available as a single locker or a nest of two lockers. Nested lockers are a more cost effective solution when more than one locker is required.

Being slightly larger in size than Cube lockers, Quarto lockers also come with pre-drilled holes which allows the lockers to be bolted together in a formation of your choice.
This makes Quarto lockers particuarly suitable for tight and small spaces. All Quarto lockers have vents in the locker door which allow the locker to breathe.
Quarto lockers can be supplied with either key locks (cam) or padlock style locks as standard. They can also be supplied with coin operated locks, combination locks or electronic locks.

If space is at a premium then Two Person Lockers offer a great solution. Two Person Lockers offer each user two compartments comprising one small full width compartment at the top of the locker and a vertical compartment fitted with double coat hook. Both sections are accessed by a common key.
