HITEK are the UK distributor for Parker Hannifin Chomerics Division and Technit. They are the only 3 suppliers of conductive gaskets to the US Mil DTL 83528 Rev C and we have a wide range of profiles and materials.

We can dispense conductive silicones in liquid form,  from Chomerics, in any quantity. As well as EMC gaskets, we can provide thermally conductive materials and electrically and thermally conductive adhesives/caulks.

Radar Absorbent Materials (RAM) are supplied by Emerson & Cumming. We take and convert these microwave absorbing materials.

To begin with you need to decide if your application is enclosed or in free space. Free Space absorbers work by absorbing propagating waves that would reflect off a conductive surface. They either work by resonant phase cancellation or slow impedance changes. In enclosed spaces the issue is nonpropagating standing waves eg when a circuit board is cover is used, creating cavities which resonate. These cavities will vary so it is difficult to predict the type of absorber that is required.

At HITEK we are the UK Distributor for Parker Hannifin Chomerics and Tecknit. We stock a wide range gaskets  in many materials and profiles. We can dispense liquid silicones that are conductive from Chomerics from 1 to 1000.

HITEK have Chomerics Cho-Thermal insulators:

• Cho-Therm 1671 - high reliability insulator and ideal for the defense and aerospace sectors. They are silicone based elastomersfilled with boron nitride. They are re-inforced with fibreglass to give tear, puncture and other resistance properties.
• Cho-Therm T500 - designed for use in the applications where the  lowest possible thermal impedance is needed. They are re-inforced with fibreglass and have a silicone binder and a boron nitride filler.
