HallCo CNC Limited offers a range of high-performance machine tool services to clients locally and throughout the UK. In more than thirty years as one of Yorkshire’s leading sub-contract precision engineering firms, we’ve built a highly efficient, quality-based service, using the latest production technology and computerised manufacturing systems to deliver components, assemblies and more.

Turning

Our dedicated CNC turning section accommodate work up to 750mm Ø, and lengths of up to 3000mm. Several of our turning centres incorporate programmable bar loading systems and are ideally suited to large production runs. We’re able to machine a wide variety of exotic materials including Copper, Titanium, Nimonic, Stainless and Leaded steels. Our programmers and machine operators are also experienced in machining plastic components. Small to medium sized turned parts with cross holes, slots, and most other milled features can be produced in one hit using the latest 5-axis technology. Milling

We offer both vertical and horizontal machining. Our vertical machining centres have a maximum table traverse of X-1626mm Y-1016mm Z-762mm, and we’re also equipped to undertake 4-axis machining operations. All our VMCs are equipped with engraving facilities, CAD/CAM linkup and incorporate overhead cranes to accommodate larger work. Our horizontal centres have a maximum table traverse of X-630mm Y-630mm Z-620mm. Both horizontal centres are equipped with full ‘B’ axis and overhead lifting facilities.

Radial Drilling

Radial drilling can be carried out in-house on sub-assemblies, large fabrications or simply for one-off jobs. The largest of our radial arm drills has a working radius of 7 ft and also incorporates a floor-pit mounting facility and overhead crane.

HallCo CNC consider customer satisfaction to be paramount in all areas of our work – both prior to, and after the production process. With more than 35 years’ trading history and experience, we’ve developed the ability to apply practical design solutions to reduce or improve the manufacturing process. All components and assemblies can be ordered on a consignment basis, in order to satisfy just in time requirements. This concept enables the company to produce goods in economic batch sizes and affords price stability regardless of lot size.
