Uninterrupitible Power Systems

- Single/single phase: Output power range: 400VA - 20,000VA
- Three/single phase: Output power range: 3,000VA - 20,000VA
- Three/three phase: Output power range: 10.0kVA - 1,000kVA

Central Power Systems
BS EN 50171:2001 specifies the general requirements for Central Power Systems, which are designed to provide an independent energy supply to essential safety equipment.
Emergency lighting is the prime application to which Central Power Systems are applied. Back up is provided by batteries of typically 1 or 3 hour autonomies.
All our systems can be configured to operate in one of several modes of operation and to meet the additional requirements over and above a standard UPS as defined by BS EN 50171:2001.
Central Power Systems are also referred to ‘Static Inverters’ or AC Central Battery Systems.
Renewable Energy Systems

External Manual Bypass Systems
The installation of an External Manual Bypass System (EMBS) provides a manually initiated no break transfer of your load from the UPS output to the mains supply. The transfer procedure is interruption free and provides for isolation of the system for undertaking routine maintenance, servicing, testing or repair.
EMBS’s can be arranged 19” rack-mounting, wall or free standing dependent upon system rating and can be supplied for both single and parallel systems.

Transfer Switches
Transfer switches provide for the transfer of critical electrical loads from one electrical source to another in order to enhance system availability. Two categories of switches available are;
- Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS)
- Static Transfer Switch (STS)
The main difference between an ATS and STS is in the switching technology that is used to effect the transfer between the incoming supplies. An ATS incorporates electromechanical switching, hence the transfer time is slower compared to the STS which uses solid state technology (SCR's). The ATS is therefore suited to less sensitive applications.
We have a complete range of Transfer Switches ranging from the intelligent 'MULTISWITCH' ATS to a comprehensive portfolio of single and three phase Static Transfer Switches.
Frequency Converters
We can offer a comprehensive range of 50/60Hz, 60/50Hz and 50/400Hz static frequency converters with an output power range from 1kVA to 600kVA for both civil and military applications.

Connectivity Solutions
All of our systems are provided with a variety of communication interfaces as standard for remote status indication.
Additional interfaces and levels of connectivity can be further provided to accommodate specific site/customer requirements, including:

Total management across a LAN using any of the main network communication protocols – TCP/IP, HTTP and network interface (SNMP).

Automatic shutdown software initiating safe power down of UPS supported servers and PC’s.

RS232/RS485.

ModBus.
-
Remote monitoring panel providing visual indication of UPS status and interrogation.

24/7 Remote monitoring of installations via our UK service facility with dedicated response times integral to comprehensive maintenance agreements.
