Our gate systems are designed and manufactured to exceed British Standards & European Norms.
Every gate system is designed to unique site requirements and for an extended operational life. Our gate systems are user friendly, low noise have courtesy features as standard.
We provide clear and compliant documentation, on and off-site. All of our systems are safe, secure and vandal resistant.
We are active members of the Door Hardware Federation and regularly attend the Gate Safety Group.

James Automation is committed to provide training and communication to avoid accidents. They are keen to promote safe and healthy workplaces and the protection of the environment.
These common objectives are shared with our clients, residents, suppliers and partners in all our undertakings. This approach has meant we have had no major or minor incidents in over 10 years.
All of our staff are trained to undertake their working day in a safe and positive manner, with particular attention to consider those around them. They are encouraged to conduct regular risk assessments of any automatic sliding gates as having automatic gate safety is important.
Automatic Gate Compliance
All our systems comply to BS EN 13241-1, BS EN 12453, BS EN 12445, BS EN 12978 and current HSE recommendations.
We strive to provide quality control & courtesy to all of our customers. All of our new systems are assembled at our workshops and tested prior to installation on-site. This minimises the disruption to client and makes installation a quick and easy process.
To ensure quality control & courtesy for our customers we appoint a project manager to oversee the project. They will attend the site at commencement, midway and on completion of works to ensure all aspects are completed to the high standards required. Any issues raised will be dealt with quickly by our on-site staff or project manager.
Electric Gate Engineer Training Programme
James Automation Invests in People. Our managers are qualified to instruct in Gate Automation installation and maintenance.
Our Engineers and managers have attended training and achieved Basic and Advanced competency in Gate Automation.
All of our staff attend annual manual handling courses and COSHH awareness courses.
