KLM Engineering are experts in Engineering Design using the latest 3D CAD software. KLM will manage the whole process from the design to manufacture or we will fit into your existing project.

Here at KLM we use advanced visualisation, within SolidWorks, that can be shown to clients before any production starts. Companies such as B&Q, GAP, Network Rail, BAA, Asset & Co, Mercedes, to name a few, rely on KLM Engineering to turn concept designs into actual products that cost less than the competition in a shorter time.

At KLM Engineering Bending is facilitated by using Amada's CNC 7 axis equipment (with 5 axis back gauge).

The service we provide includes user friendly controlling which speeds up bend speeds, increases production whilst remaining accurate. 2D graphic, angle and manual programming modes can be catered for and off line programming  is possible with Amada's Bend Cam Software.

KLM Engineering Laser Cutting services are facilitated by our AMADA Optics Laser Machine which is capable of cutting 20mm mild steel and is runs at 20 meters a minute with the capability of handling sheets up to 3m x 1.5m.

We have a wealth of experience and knowledge to be able to provide you with the advice on the possibilities of your laser cutting requirements.

Laser cutting has the following benefits:

• Can cut complex shapes and tapping holes
• Heat distortion is reduced
• On stainless steel, using nitrogen gas , a polished edge can be achieved

KLM Engineering Punching uses a Amada Vipros 358 King 58 station turret press. The machine is controlled by the office's Radan CAD/CAM system which gives you high levels of accuracy and efficiency at all stages.

Standard jobs are catered for by our large range of tools and we can get specialised tools to suit individual needs. It is also possible to import files to the punching machines, linked to our CAD/CAM design office, thus reducing costs and increasing speed and turnaround.

We can manufacture components in most materials including mild steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel and aluminium. Our punching services can make louvers, large embossed forms, special cut outs and plunge and tapped holes  (no need for nut inserts).

KLM have over 30 years in engineering fabrication and have a operating facility that is the state of the art and nearly 50,000 square feet in size. We have services covering:
