LANDON ENGINEERING (CASTLEWORKS) LTD is an established Company that has been trading for 18 years. The Company was formed with a view to servicing the requirements of local engineering firms, by supplying a variety of components and fabricated assemblies. From the beginning the Company has enjoyed steady growth in all areas now employing almost 50 dedicated skilled staff.
We have held ISO 9002 accreditation for ten years which has enabled us to gain customers in most industrial markets, particularly Power Generation and Distribution industry as well has having experience in the manufacture of pressure vessels and offshore fabrications.
We are setup for fabrications large and small with a 600m2 workshop serviced by 100 cranage and a second workshop 720m2 with 25 tonne cranage specialising in smaller detailed fabrications.

Quality Assurance
We have held BS EN ISO 9000 approval for several years. All our workforce are aware of the importance of producing quality, from the receipt of the customer’s order through to project completion.
- Preparation of weld procedures and welder qualifications to BS EN 287, 288
- Preparation of data books
- Verification of material test certification
- Internal audits
Our system allows us to obtain to material certification for every component on a fabrication for 5 years after manufacture.
Our shop floor inspectors all hold PCN certification in MPI and DPI as well as CSWIP welding inspection. Our welders are coded to ASME IX, BS EN287 and offshore welding standards. Fabrications are frequently produced to AWS D1.1.
