-CNC Guillotine:Up to 8 metres (24ft) - the largest in the UK. Even larger items can be machined using alternative methods.
 

-Turret Press:This advanced facility allows precise cutting and punching of many complex forms, including of curved elements. Direct input from Radan CAD allows great accuracy. A common application, for example, is perforated panelling punched with a border to permit a sound attenuation for internal atria.
 

-3 Brake Presses: - largest at 8m - the largest in UK and one of the largest in Europe. Large panels may be fabricated including rolled panels, via very small increments, giving a smooth external face. Punching and bent returns are carried out as a matter of course.
 

-Rollers:Small and large. Smaller rollers are part of the assembly and fabrication shops. The large roller accepts up to 4.3m, but can be supplanted by forming rolled elements on the 8m brake press if required.
 

-Assembly Shop: Frames are mitred and assembled. Composite 3D elements are co-ordinated spot welded and checked against fabrication drawings. Dimensions are confimed and any stud fixing carried out. Corrections are made if errors are discovered during this process.
 

-Welding Shop:Certified welders TIG weld using the appropriate grade of pure aluminium with appropriate additives.
 

NES can manufacture and directly print, cut, rout and install the following rigid substrates using UV print, flatbed inca prints or screen printing methods:

Acrylic, Polycarbonate, Perspex, Foamex, Correx, ACM, Aluminium, Metals and wood.

ILLUMINATED SIGNAGE & RETAIL GRAPHICS, UK

Re-branding projects which include illuminated signage, retail graphics and signs, using LEDs and fluorescent tube illumination, sometimes we use neon as well as cold cathode. If you require non illuminated signage we have a wide range of materials and processes available to us, three dimensional signs and letter can be fabricated from acrylic, descaled stainless steel, Dibond, Reynobond or Alucobond (this is also known as ACM-aluminium composite material). We specialise in the fabrication of ACM for the sign boxes and tray as well as manufacturing and fitting shop fronts and fascias. Apart from signage we supply and fit retail graphics, generally UV or solvent printed on to substrates ranging from Foamex (foamed PVC) to corrugated plastics such as Correx to cards and poster papers. We even print onto slightly unusual materials including silks, canvases, polycarbonates and polyesters. We can manufacture retail graphics and illuminated signage for use anywhere in the UK.
 

LED LIGHTBOXES, LED LIGHTWALLS, LED LIGHTPANELS
 

All of our LED light boxes, light walls and light panels are manufactured at NES under our brand Lightline. These are illuminated by either fluorescent tubes or use our own LED edge lit technology, this enables us to produce frameless light boxes which can be as little as 25mm depth. We produce menu LED light boxes, curved and frameless LED light boxes using fluorescent tube illumination, but for LED light panels and light walls we use KKDC LEDs to illuminate. All boxes can have the graphic printed to the face or use a backlit film, a Duratrans or even a Lambda print. To suit different applications light boxes are made from aluminium, acrylic and polycarbonate. If you need a Class O fire rated unit we make the front panel from glass.
 

TRANSPORT GRAPHICS

We cut and fit vinyl graphics to internal and external of trains and vehicle fleets, working on large scale contracts such as applying cut vinyl to a thousand vans, trucks and cars or small scale contracts for one offs.

We also supply small labels and stickers, ether photo-luminescent or embossed silk screen or digitally printed
 

RAINS SCREEN CLADDING

Rains screen cladding systems use ACM which can be fabricated into Trays, Cassettes, Curves and complex Shapes either routed and formed or rolled and formed. Suitable both internally or externally its PDVF coating will guarantee up to 12 years. It comes in a variety of finishes and textures and can be digitally printed, or ‘In aluminium’ printed or screen printed. Our manufacturing is carried out on flat bed routers and fabricated by hand. We have also clad buildings in GRP, anodised aluminium, stainless steel and polycarbonate with integral Lightline LED lightpanels. These are manufactured under our brand NES Architectural.
 

COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL SIGNAGE

We design, install and manage signage installations for business and retail parks, Varying from basic directory and information signs through to the large architectural feature signs, incorporating fabricated or pre-formed steel and aluminium panels which clad galvanised or stainless steel frames. Signage can also be incorporated into the rainscreen or kingspan cladding systems. Internal signage or way finding systems can be a basic as vinyl graphics applied to aluminium panels or Braille and tactile sign panels all of course DDA compliant. Talking signs, hearing & induction loops are also supplied by NES, we can even supply wheel chair ramps, transaction aid kits and various auxiliary aids under our brand name Clearline

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE IMAGE

Large format, Grand format, Roll to Roll, UV, Direct to Media, Screen Printing?… The simple method of printing an image onto a piece of material is as complex as it is varied.

We don’t expect our customers to know, or even want to know, the droplet size of the ink or the particular plasticizers used to allow the print to fold, or even the benefits of using an ACM against a rigid PVC. We can, if you would like, have one of our engineers discuss this with you, but we’re sure you have other things to concern yourself with.
 

What we do at NES is simple, take an image and reproduce it to the highest quality onto virtually any material, we can print it any size and produce either one or thousands and If you want it quickly we can even print it in 24 hours.

CLEARLINE TACTILE AND BRAILLE
