Timber Mouldings cover a range of machined timber finishes such as architraves, skirtings, beads, cornices and dado rails available in both 'period' and standard styling.

So if your requirement is for contemporary architraves, period setting picture rails, a small decorative moulding, or even a large hardwood threshold sill, then look no further than Champion. Our range of 'period' softwood mouldings is probably the largest available in the country and we can machine it for you, if we do not stock it.

We stock a large range of MDF and plywood thicknesses, veneered MDF, associated edgings, chipboard, laminated wood panels, a variety of insulation products for differing applications and choice, plasterboard, and of course all the fixings and fittings you would need.

Most sheet materials come in full size boards, generally 2440 x 1220mm (8' x 4'). We can cut most types to size or we have a pre-cut handy panel range of smaller sizes in hardwood plywood and MDF. With specialist cutting facilities at all branches, the first two cuts are free, saving you money and mistakes!

Even though the old-fashioned Ironmongery shop has virtually disappeared, at Champion we try to keep the tradition alive and well but use a more modern approach. By presenting our stock in a logical and uniform manner we ensure that everything is easy to see and buy.

We stock a huge variety of latches, catches stays, hinges, hooks and fasteners: items that are often difficult to find elsewhere. Many items are sold loose or in economical polybags, so you can buy the required quantity and not pay extra for expensive packaging.

At Champion, we carry a huge range of woodcare products and adhesives. As manufacturers continually increase and enhance their range of products, we try to stock the most suitable and up-to date products to care for your wood.

Adhesives

As stockists of Gripfill, Evode, Unibond, Loctite plus equivalent brands, we can supply most products for gluing wood. We also deal in specialist products like Pearl Glue - a high quality animal glue invaluable for antique restoration.

Sealants

Stockist of Dow Corning/Geocel silicones, sealants and mastics for every application involving timber and beyond.

Wood Finishes

We carry a large range of finest quality French polishes, traditional natural polishes and liquids, and finishing oils which give a range of finishes for light and dark woods whether applied to antique or modern surfaces.
