Services
Regular maintenance is an important part of the after-sales service offered by Safe at Height Ltd.
This service ensures the continued safe operation of your equipment whilst protecting the value of your investment.
Our highly trained service engineers have both specific product training and extensive experience in servicing and maintaining access platforms.
Our mobile service engineers are fully equipped with a comprehensive range of fast moving spare parts, on-board welding facilities, a technical library and full range of oils and consumables. Each engineer is equipped with cellular communication to enable rapid response to customer demands whilst minimising wasted travel time.
Under the LOLER and PUWER regulations, it is a legal requirement to have your access equipment tested and thoroughly examined at regular intervals. These intervals are six monthly for personnel lifts, twelve monthly for material handling equipment and dependent on frequency of use for Scaffold Towers, Staging, Ladders and Steps. Our service department is able to offer service and inspection contracts for all new platforms we supply and any existing access equipment you may have.
Training
It is a requirement under The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) that employers must ensure that employees are given adequate training. Safe at Height Ltd training department is able to offer training that will ensure that the employer meets his obligations under these regulations.
A general one day operator training course. The course covers all aspects relating to the equipment your company utilises including Health and Safety and general machine operating skills.
Courses can cover one machine category with a maximum of 6 people or two machine categories with a maximum of 4 people. The course will be conducted on your site and on your equipment. If you don’t have the equipment available on site this can be supplied through our hire department. All machines require a current valid LOLER certificate; see our service and inspection section for details, before any training can be carried out. All successful delegates will receive a certificate of competency.
A one day course to train people in the skills and knowledge needed to achieve the standards of competence to carry out the erecting, transporting and storing of scaffold towers and/or steps and ladders.
Courses have a maximum number of 10 people. The course will be conducted on your site and on your equipment. If you don’t have the equipment available on site this can be supplied through our hire department. All equipment requires a current valid inspection certificate, see our service and inspection section for details, and must conform to all current regulations. All successful delegates will receive a certificate of competency.
