Glossbrook Engineering is a privately owned company established in 1976 and specialises in Plastic Injection Moulding, Precision Mould Toolmaking, Repairs and Vacuum Plating.
Manufacturing Facility:
Tool Design
Our in-house computer aided design department can offer help and advice on component design, thus enabling the manufacture of mould tools in a cost effective way. In many cases a model is made to prove part functionality before tools are started.
Toolmaking
Our toolroom is full equipped with the latest computer aided mould tool design and machining software. We have the very latest generation of CNC Milling machines and CNC Spark Erosion Machine tools along with a full complement of conventional machines which are all operated by our highly skilled toolmakers.
Moulding Department
The large moulding shop is fully equipped with 18 modern machines ranging from 25 to 350 tonnes lock and all ancilliary equipment including integrated robots necessary for mass production low cost items as well as low volume technical components which are also monitored by skilled moulding technicians.
Quality Control
This plays a large part in our production facility. All parts are checked on an hourly basis with Quality Control and Inspection criteria travelling through the factory during manufacture. Post/Other Operations
We can offer an assembly, insert, hot foil stamping, ultrasonic welding and packaging service also.
Vacuum Plating
Our vacuum plating plant is set up for high or low volume production using a 60 inch vacuum chamber.
Additional information
The range of components produced is varied and includes - Parts for the manufacture of electronic test equipment; Printing Machines; Satellite base station; Surgical; Mobile telephones; Curtain fittings; First Aid; Music Industry; Enclosures; Automotive; DIY; Decorative furniture fittings and many others. We are able to cope with high and low volume production including research/development work. No job is too small.
