Since 1969, Destec have been committed to the design and manufacture of portable machine tools. We deal with installation and servicing of company products, and also as a general on-site machining service. We have knowledge on a wide range of bolt tensioning equipment. Hydraulic tensioners allow controlled stress levels as stipulated when using conventional flat-faced joints. 

Our fastest method of bolt tensioning is the use of the Ratchet Torque tensioner.

The Low Height Torque tensioner can be used when access is difficult. The use of high-pressure power packs and reversible flow choices allow for fast and effective bolt tightening.

Our Type Approved & Fire Tested G-Range clamp connector provides an ideal solution to piping installations.

The lightweight design has the advantage of a 75 percent weight saving compared to the ANSI flame model. The G-Range connector is designed to withstand adverse conditions of pressure, thermal shock and temperature.

We have many types of connector to offer including butt weld and blind hubs. We also have a range of equipment to enlarge and reduce metering connections. Hinged closures can also be offered for pressure vessels.

Our G-Range clamp connector can be produced in carbon, stainless, alloy and duplex steels.   

Destec specialise in on-site insitu machining services and can make substantial savings on heavy plant construction, maintenance and modifications.

Our on-site insitu machining includes facing. We use portable equipment to give successful surface finishes. We also offer oval facing using Destec's purpose built machines. We can also provide precision boring.

Destec use the original Compact Flange. It is designed in accordance with ASME ANSI BS 8010 and is Type Approved & Fire Tested.

It boasts an 88 percent weight saving when compared to the ANSI flange, with superior strength and fatigue performance. It is perfect for topsides and sub-sea applications and performs where minimum weight and reduced maintenance is needed.

Compact Ranges are designed in either carbon, stainless, alloy or duplex steels. 

Subsea connectors, like the Destec GSB Single Bolt Clampset, are purposely designed to be used where a conventional four bolt G-Range Clampset would be impractical.

Subsea connectors come with a mounting plate that can be designed to fit with different requirements for pull-in systems and alignment and provision for stab connectors that use electrical or hydraulic circuits.

Destec's patented tools can be used in various procedures from pipe cutting to weld preparation. We promise that our pipe cutting tools will cut through the thickest pipe made from the hardest materials.
