Manufactured with a steel casing, the guard uses heavy weight neoprene nylon as its sheet medium, sprung to givea full closure against the leadscrew, therefore offering full protection for the operator.

Drillguards give full protection from quill to drill point by the smooth telescopic action of the Guards, which collapse as the drill penetrates the workpiece, returning to the extended position when the spindle is raised. Models MT, MTS and HTS have a strong construction of aluminum extrusions with chip breaking leading edges

Sponmech have invested in the latest CNC machinery to be able to offer cost effective manufacture of Acoustic enclosures for industry.

CAD drawings are produced and fed to the machines that produce the sheet steel folded panels.

A range of panel thickness is produced using Rockwool and Acoustic mesh to achieve the required decibel reduction. In some cases alternative foam based acoustic material is used.

Attenuated air intakes, powered doors, hinged and sliding doors can all be built.

Electric lights, fans are all available.
