Dye penetrant inspection (DPI), also called liquid penetrant inspection (LPI) or penetrant testing (PT), is an often utilised, low-cost inspection method.

Dye penetrant inspection is used to determine surface breaking defects in non-porous materials such as ceramics, metals or plastics.

As part of our non destructive testing capabilities, we utilise magnetic particle inspection (MPI), a procedure for determining surface and near surface anomalies in ferrous materials.

We can carry out magnetic particle inspection either in-house or at your premises. Our specialist equipment uses for inspections includes:
