Portman have experienced a marked increase in leasing enquiries from new start businesses who have not been able to secure funding from their banks. Portman will happily consider new start businesses and have a team specialising in helping businesses trading less than three years.

Portman act as an independent lender and broker, giving them an edge in terms of flexibility and turnaround times. Able to think outside the box, Portman can approve asset finance for equipment that some lenders simply cannot consider. Equipment leasing is normally arranged over a period between one and five years depending on the useful life of the equipment. If the equipment is used/reconditioned, finance periods are generally capped at three years.
