Established as a company dedicated to the supply of agricultural precast products, Moore Concrete has undergone considerable diversification of its product range. However, the company still mantains a strong commitment to the agricultural community with its current product range including Livestock Suspended Flooring Systems, Feed Bunkers, Drinking Troughs, Walling Systems, Slurry Channels, Retainer Walls and Above Ground Stores.
 

Moore Concrete are pleased to introduce their new Bunker Wall with optimum shape and profile for the storage of grain, aggregate and other bulk materials. Their curved shape has been developed to allow the free flow of material to the bottom of the silo. They have a straight portion at the base to allow ease of loading.

The Bunker Wall is designed to be portable, allowing you to change widths of bays in line with your business demands or crop yields. Recesses for fork toes are incorporated in the base.

Corner units for the Bunker Walls are also available.

The Bunker Walls are available at 2.4m, 3m or 3.6m heights and are 1.2m long.
 

We manufacture a range of durable concrete feed troughs suitable for use with dairy and beef cattle. Our concrete feed trough is suitable for use with diet feeders ensuring food stuffs are kept clean and within livestock reach at all times. This in turn encourages animals to eat the whole mix thus reducing waste.

Feed troughs can be provided with end units on request.

Our feed troughs are designed to ensure rapid installation and can be repositioned should individual requirements change.

Included in our feed trough range are:

- Single sided feed troughs ( suitable for use with and existing wall)

- Double sided feed troughs (designed for use with all modern diet feeders)

- Double feed trough (suitable for dividing a house into two pens)

- Calf feed troughs (for use with young stock or smaller livestock)

Moore Concrete are pleased to announce their new modern shaped Tractor Weight with chamfered edges. Available in two weights of 1ton and 1.5ton approx. Only adds 500mm to overall length of tractor, suitable for mounting on the front or back of the tractor. Also incorporates facility for 3-point linkage and the A-frame quick hitch system. Operator can attach and detach Tractor Weight without leaving the cab. Includes lifting eye for easy loading onto trailer at end of work. New Tractor Weight improves traction for fieldwork and stability on the road; low centre of gravity for maximum stability.

Free standing retainer walls are ideal for the bulk storage of materials such as silage, feedstuffs, coal or aggregates. Designed to facilitate dual load bearing, these L-shaped walls are available in heights of 2.4m (8ft), 3.0m (10ft) and 4.0m (13ft).

Each unit can be easily transported from one location to another.

Pull-out points can be cast above the heel on request, to allow the farmer easy access to the silage face.

Corner units of these retainer walls are also available.

Designed for speed of installation, Moore Concrete prestressed wall panels are supplied ready for immediate use. Wall panel systems offer significant time and cost savings over traditional methods. There is no need for foundations, as the panels can rest on the post foundation or on landing brackets.

Availabe in 100mm (4") thickness each prestressed wall panel is manufactured under our strict quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001. Our panels are available in both 0.6m (2ft) and 1.2m (4ft) high and are joined together using a simple tongue and groove system. The length of each panel can be adjusted to suit individual requirements.

The wall panels can be used in the construction of structural walls for livestock or general purpose buildings. These panel walls are supplied with a smooth finish which can be easily cleaned. The wall panels are bolted to or slotted in between the RSJ.

Moore Concrete manufactures slurry transfer units which allow for the flow of slurry to or between storage tanks. The slurry flows freely by gravity in combination with water in the channel. Transfer channels reduce the need to agitate manure inside farm buildings.

This system has been designed for rapid installation. The 2.4m (8') long open channel units fit together using a spigot and socket joint, which can be easily sealed.

Precast end units complete with outlet hole are also available on request.

Moore Concrete's in-house concrete drinker has been designed to elimiate the problmes associated with a shortage of livestock drinking points, while maximising space in-house.

This precast concrete drinker comes with a 4" (100mm) bung as standard, and the drinker is raised off the ground with concrete supports. This enables rapid emptying of the concrete livestock drinker.

Animal safety has also been considered with the narrow livestock drinker featuring rounded edges to prevent injury. This feature also allows more cattle to access the drinker at once.

Moore Concrete's livestock suspended flooring range includes both single and double sloping cubicle bases, designed to ensure optimum livestock comfort. This aids growth and milk yield in dairy cows.

The precast base is supplied to site suitable for the fitting of cubicle metalwork and mattress. The cubicle bases are suitable for use with anyproprietary cubicle system. All units can be easily suspended above the tank with no need for floor slabs, thus optimising slurry storage under the cubicle beds.

A range of heel heights and finishes are available.

We also manufacture portable cubicle bases in a range of sizes.

Moore Concrete manufacture a wide range of heads and sills to suit windows and doors of all sizes. Our staff have experience in reading plans, and are on hand to assist you to ensure that you get the heads and sills which best match your project needs.

Heads

Designed to support buiding above wall openings our heads/lintels are available in either reinforced or prestressed concrete sections. These strengthened concrete sections are available from 65mm x 100mm to 100mm x 215mm as standard, with larger sizes and custom arched heads available by special order.

Padstones for the support of timber or steel beams are also available.

Sills

A range of sills are available for use in all house types, from timber frame, standard block work and stone cladding buildings. Providing weatherproofing for wall cavaties our sills are available in a wide variety of sizes.

We manufacture Single and 2 Course sills suitable for typical housing windows, our 7" sills are suitable for use in single cavity or garage walls, while timber frame sills are also available.

Stooled and corner sills are also available.

We manufacture a range of manhole rings compliant with BS5911 Part 3 and EN1917. Our manhole rings can be manufactured up to 1200mm deep allowing for fewer joints, thus saving money, time and manpower. All rings can be fitted with double or single steps as required.

All manhole rings are available from 900mm to 1500mm diameters, with matching coverslabs manufactured to suit.

We offer a number of wall copings and pillar caps in a variety of styles, finished to the highest standards. With a diverse range of sizes available you are sure to find a product to suit your individual building requirements. Wall copings and pillar caps are ideal for finishing off walls and pillars in a neat manner, while providing protection against discolouration due to weathering.
