A packaged pumping station provides an efficient and economical way of installing a drainage system. We have a range of pump stations in pre-fabricated tanks suitable for the transfer of water, effluent and sewage. All are complete with internal pipe work pre-assembled ready for installation into or above the ground, after which the submersible pumps and control equipment are fitted.

The 'Flood Box' is a versatile, convenient and portable complete pumping system for transferring flood-water. It is specifically designed for removing nuisance water from buildings, basements, car-parks and garden patios. (Not suitable for sewage water or contaminated water).

The contents of the Automated Environmental Systems portable flood box comprise of:

• One low-level submersible water pump with automatic float-switch
• 'Full Automatic' or 'Manual' level control modes
• 240 volt domestic power supply, pump supplied with 10 metres of cable and a 13amp plug
• Integral non-return valve to prevent water falling back when switched off
• Maximum flow of 8,700 litres per hour
• Maximum pumping head - 6.5 metres (22 feet)
• Low suction capability of 2 - 3mm
• A handy 10 metre length of tough roll-up delivery hose (additional extension lengths available)
• A plastic carrying crate for storage and for use if required to filter out leaves and debris

To achieve the best use of the flood box, simply stand the box on the floor of a waterlogged cellar, flooded patio or low point in the garden, roll out the delivery hose, plug into the electricity supply, switch on and watch the water disappear.
