REID's PD500-Lightweight, 2 piece, bagged davit (jib crane) system with WLL to 500kg, yet only 24kg fully assembled.
With a safe lifting capacity to 500kg, yet made of lightweight aluminium and weighing, fully assembled, 24kg (standard product), the PORTA-DAVIT system is literally a one person “pick up and go” lifting solution. Manufactured using REID Lifting’s innovative design and custom aluminium profiles, the PORTA-DAVIT bagged system can be easily transported by hand to any site that a single person can access abd is certified for personnel lifting (man-ride) EN795 Class B applications.

The PORTA-DAVIT family has now been extended to include the world first WLL 1,000kg aluminium davit; the PD1000 The PORTA-DAVIT 1000 further extends the PORTADAVIT family with WLL 1000kg capability for Goods and a Personnel Lifting (Man-ride) rating pending for EN795-Class B certification.

PORTA -LIFTER “MHL” Lightweight, portable manhole lifters:
Rapid assembly, easy lifting operation manhole lifting systems with unique four point lift hydraulic version for larger covers.
REID Lifting’s MHL range of lightweight, portable manhole lifting systems enable workers to quickly and safely lift heavy manhole covers while complying with Manual Handling Regulations. Manufactured from high tensile alloy they come complete with a hydraulic lift mechanism to minimise manual effort. Each unit has a unique lift bar arrangement, which makes it ideal for lifting both large and split cover designs in a single operation. Each unit is suitable for 2 and 4 point lifting, with 4 standard keys supplied. Designed by REID to eliminate workforce crush injuries, reduce operator effort during use and speed up the lifting time, the units are quickly assembled and easily transported in an estate car or van and used by just one person.

REID PORTA-LIFTER “SNAPPER”
The REID “SNAPPER” manhole lifter is designed by REID for rapid assembly and swift operation for manhole covers up to 200 kg while being lightweight and easy to transport. Packing down to 1200mm x 250mm x 300mm width it has a fully assembled weight of just 22kg. The unique lift bar locks onto even those large and awkward split bolted covers for lifting in a single operation.

PORTA-BEAM™ lifting beams and spreader beams:
The PORTA-BEAM™ family is a range of lightweight, portable and adaptable lifting beams and spreader beams with a WLL rating range to 10,000kgs. The beams have adaptable configurations with provision for one or two upper load attachments points and two or more lower attachments, allowing pick up from an overhead crane, PORTA-GANTRY or fixed gantry beam.
Each PORTA-BEAM has an anodised finish as standard with carry handles attached for manual lifting.
A range of standard configurations is available along with customised lengths, WLL ratings and lifting points being provided on request, to suit many applications.

Ultra lightweight, rapid assembly, stable lifting structures perfectly designed for moving heavy submersible pumps the extremely lightweight, mobile PORTA-QUAD, built using REID Lifting’s lightweight aluminium alloy section is available in WLL 500 and 1000kg models with an assembled weight of just 28kg and 36kgs (1.5m and 2m base options). They are easily carried, assembled and used by just one person, saving time, manpower and related expense.

The PORTA-QUAD design adds significant stability and safety factors to the traditional tripod systems in wide use across the water and waste water treatment sectors and elsewhere. With a greater ‘safe footprint’ than a tripod the PORTA-QUAD has a large operating zone for lifting and putting down.

The PORTA-QUAD PQ1000 and PQ500 versions each come with swivel-locking castors for easy manoeuvring and can be supplied with levelling feet for use on most terrains.
