FRF Systems Flat Roof Framework
From design through to installation frf systems provides the uk's first complete solution for supporting all building services and equipment upon flat roofs.
Roof Support Systems
FRF150
For all light duty roof support applications the FRF150 foot has the flexibility to accommodate trays and ladders up to a width of 225mm on a single foot and 1000mm when using two feet and a fully height adjustable frame. Each FRF150 foot has a load capacity of 110kg.
FRF300
Based on supporting loads of up to 330kg per foot, FRF300 can accommodate any width framework and is provided with either a static base or on pivoting supports to account for the slope or unevenness of the roof.
FRF400
The FRF400 can each carry up to 440kg per foot and are designed for use in heavy duty applications in conjunction with a framework designed specifically to accommodate the project eg support of air handling units.
Cable Management
The support of cable trays and ladders can be accommodated by the FRF cable management system in three ways according to the load and capacity requirements:
Light Duty
For loads up to 220N per frame. Fully height adjustable 225mm max wide cable management tray or ladder supported with a single FRF150 foot with threaded rod uprights and a channel cross member.
Medium Duty
For loads up to 440N per frame. Fully height adjustable 1000mm max wide cable management tray or ladder supported on two FRF150 feet with channel uprights and cross members.
Heavy Duty
For loads up to 2200N per frame. As loads increase the height adjustable cable management tray or ladder is supported on FRF300 feet which are supplied with pivoting connectors to accommodate sloping or uneven roof surfaces
Pipe Support
FRF pipe supports can accommodate single and multiple pipework up to 50mm in diameter. The channel framework allows for the use of integral channel pipe clips or 2 piece lined or unlined clips supported on threaded rod.
The pipe support framework is fully height adjustable and can be supplied with pivoting feet to accommodate sloping and/or uneven roof surfaces.
Duct Support
Ducting can be supported in a variety of ways using various types of duct supports and duct fittings depending on the positioning and type of ducting:
From above
Trapeze arrangement ducting supports with threaded rod and specialist brackets on cross channel members.
From below
Fully height adjustable framework and pyramid feet.
From the side
Combination of cantilever arms and special bracketry.
Duct supports and duct fittings from FRF will meet all your needs for these applications.
Chiller Condenser/ Air Handling
The size and weight of these items vary over a considerable range and the supports are generally designed specifically to cater for each piece of equipment dependant on size, weight and roof design - condensers, plant equipment, portable units, etc.
Fully adjustable plant and unit support frames are carried on pyramid FRF300 or FRF400 feet.
Plant and unit support frames are usually free standing providing a stable platform upon which to position the units before finally securing to the frame.
Access Walkways
FRF systems access walkways can be created to suit the specific requirements of the project, taking into account the safety requirements of access equipment.
All FRF access walkways are carried on adjustable feet to ensure the system is level and secure with handrails to British Standards.
