Users of LARGE RUBBER MOULDING MACHINES already require machine concepts with reduced working height. First of all MAPLAN already presents a corresponding concept at the exhibition “K 1986”. In the meantime there are a lot of solutions for reducing the working height on the market, but all these variations have disadvantages like too massive parts, a high quantity of moving parts, leakages, too long injection nozzles, …..

For this reason MAPLAN developed an ERGONOMICALLY DESIGNED RUBBER INJECTION MOULDING MACHINE-SERIES according to the new concept.

The clamping unit of the new machine-series presents a large-area backing of the mould and a low working height. Thereby it is not necessary to move the whole clamping piston/clamping cylinder and the SEALING GASKETS ARE NOT STRAINED by high lateral loads at the accelerating- and decelerating phase.

Due to the EASY ASSEMBLING and the low number of moving parts the clamping system is VERY FAST and SOLID.

The new RUBBER INJECTION UNIT presents a low height of the strip intake keeping the concept of the MAPLAN FIFO-system and the short nozzle. Therefore the MAPLAN ergo-series has the SHORTEST INJECTION PROCESS with the smallest pressure loss. The permanent cooled nozzle will not be uncoupled.
