Advanced Engineering (Middleton) Ltd. is a privately owned company, formed in 1968, to service the mixing demands required by a wide variety of industrial companies.

We design and produce highly efficient mixers used throughout the food processing, paint production, petrochemical and cosmetic industries. Our production workshop is staffed with skilled operators trained to produce high quality equipment.

Managing director Andrew Hudson and his team work from design through to final assembly and hydraulic testing of the finished machines at our factory and head office, which is located in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.

Design and manufacturing is carried out to the highest engineering standards ensuring total quality at all stages of production. The highest grades of stainless steel are used in manufacture, coupled with high performance motors and mechanical shaft seals to provide a degree of performance, durability and reliability hard to match, let alone better.

We also offer a complete in-house or on-site refurbishing service to suit customers requirements.  Increasing customer demand has dictated the necessity for developing a wide range of products that reflect technical innovations. Although our initial aim is to satisfy our customers production requirements our after sales support and services are available for the complete operational life of our products.

Advanced Engineering produce a wide range of mixers, many of which can be tailored to suit the customers requirements.  We also have a base range of mixers which to many are suitable as available, or they can be modified to suit the application.

Agitating Mixers.  This range includes Propeller style mixers and Axial Flow Turbine Mixers.
Batch Mixers.  This range includes Standard Immersion Mixers, High Speed Sealed Bearing Mixers, Bottom Entry Mixers, and Special Purpose Mixers.
In-Line Mixers.  This range includes Single Stage In-Line High Shear Mixers, High Speed Self-Cleaning Mixers, Three Stage Multi-Shear In-Line Mixers, and Ad-Pro High Shear Emulsifier Advanced Processing Mixers.

We pride ourselves in providing a solution to the clients needs.  Our design team will provide solutions based on the specific needs of the products to be mixed.  With over 40 years of mixing experience, we have many solutions that can be tailored or we can provide a new solution as required.

Here at Advanced Engineering, our workshop facilities are all on-site giving direct access to the machinery and staff needed to produce high quality equipment and machine spares.

We specialise in machining all grades of Stainless Steel and more exotic materials such as Hastelloy and Titanium.

We can undertake repairs and refurbishments of your existing mixing equipment. We offer a complete in-house or on-site refurbishing service to suit customers requirements.

This is often a more cost effective solution for minor problems. All our repairs and refurbishments are done to meet the needs of the individual customer. We offer rapid turn-around times. All repairs and refurbishments meet the same high standards as our new products.
