Types of industry standard noise assessments that we can undertake:

• BS4142: 1997 Industrial Noise Assessment (usually requested by planning officer or E.H.O for increases in mechanical noise)
• PPG 24 Noise Surveys (requested by planning officer and is or noise concerns related to residential dwellings)
• BS5228 - Noise Assessment (noise assessments of construction sites and open site noise)

Sound Planning can conduct workplace noise assessments in accordance with The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005.

The work noise assessment involves the evaluation of current employee exposure and dose values, with the acoustic report including noise mitigation strategies if current levels are too high.
